The 2d Amendment DOES stop tyranny. There's just one addendum: Those with MOST AND BIGGEST GUNS... win.

And the Japanese weren't attacked by the government, they were protected by it. They were released when it was safe.

That's correct. The Japanese were incarcerated, but they were well treated and never "attacked".

So no constitutional rights conferred. About 80,000 of them were second-generation individuals born in the United States (Nisei), most of which were kids.

Their confinement was by the War Department as the US was at war with the Japanese so the 2nd had nothing to do with it.

Just fine? Yeah... the Uyhgers in China are just honky dory. The nonconformists in North Korea are doing great. Slaves in Rwanda are just fine.

 

Yep, England, France, Canada, Australia, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, the Swiss, etc. are doing just fine. By the way, we didn't have a 2nd when we broke from England

You're failing on the most fundamental levels of logic. That you can name places that don't have certain words written on a piece of paper that are doing ok means nothing. What happens when gov't uses force against the people? Can the people defend themselves? That's the question. We in the United States can. You were just given MANY examples of populations that can't defend themselves against gov't and they're heavily persecuted because of it. Just because you can name a few that aren't being persecuted DOES NOT prove they won't EVER need to defend themselves against gov't.

You're entire argument is the equivalent of saying 'well, nobody broke into my house last night so police are useless'. And yes, that's EXACTLY what you're saying. That we haven't had to defend ourselves YET doesn't mean that ability isn't necessary.

Also, HILARIOUS that you tried to use the US breaking from England as an example. We were able to break from England EXACTLY because we had the ability to fight back against gov't. Our ability to fight back was 100% necessary in order for us to gain our independence. And because of this, it was put into the bill of rights to ensure the people would always have that ability if needed. Your argument that we haven't needed it yet is logically INVALID.

But please, keep pushing your invalid arguments.....it's even more entertaining now that it was at first.
