The United States imports nearly everything. The nation that built a strong economy on manufacturing now exports very little. One new thing that is being exported from the United States is a foreign policy of subversion and perversion. Having nearly wrapped America in the rainbow flag of the homosexual agenda, the Obama administration has now begun the process in Latin America and the Caribbean....................

the official spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic, told the Associated Press that Brewster was chosen “because of his skills as an international businessman and his ideas on democracy and human rights,” and that “Brewster arrives as an ambassador, he's not coming here as an activist for the gay community.” That promise was soon shown to be false.

Besides showing up with his “husband” in tow, Brewster almost immediately began behaving like the “activist for the gay community” that he is. As the New York Times recently reported:

    end snip

This is interesting. We've seen mandates to female military to respect Muslim country cultures and to cover up. When it concerns the gay agenda and that Christian countries do not approvie of the lifestyle, this administration has a different perspective of respecting the culture.

Do you think Obama should have sent a man who is open about his gay lifestyle into a nation which are devout Catholics and do not condone gay-sex?

Are you confused by the double standards of this administration where we must comply with the Islamic culture but not Christianity?

What does the New Testament of the Bible say about the civil rights of gays and how the government should treat them?

Not the best thing to put your faith into as a guideline from heaven.

    the topic

the D.R. is very heavily Christian and do not condonde public displays of the gay lifestyle. Why should we respect Islamic culture when in the Middle East but won't respect the Christian culture in the D.R.? Do you honestly think Obama would send into an Islamic nation an ambassador who enjoys gay-sex and was open about it ?

Can you explain the double standard from this administration?

Are you saying DomRep is a theocracy on par with Saudi Arabia? Is Christianity enforced in their law?

And again, if the Bible says nothing in the New Testament about the government restricting gay rights, then why would being gay or advocating for gay rghhts be considered anti-Christian?

If gays are born gay, what's the point of advertising the gay lifestyle?

    I thought conversion wasn't possible?

The pope and three froths of his underlings are homo and the rest are child molesters. He runs a capitalist religious cult but you being a big supporter that proves your point with the words of the pope you already knew that.

Yes, the first pope wrote the bible with critical editing from the Roman Emperor. Most religions have a following of people whose culture appreciate the tenants of the religion. The Arab trash like to beat their wives and degrade/subjugate women. But just about ever religion/culture has less than a positive view of the liberal horde's favorite perversion.

0 threw this pervert into the face of a christian culture hoping that his actions will further decline our strength in the world.

In the early church in Jerusalem women had far more equal status, but the Roman Church quickly changed that.

That they shouldn't be victimized... nor should proselytizing
and spreading a homosexual agenda be indulged. Funny how that last bit is never brought up.

Just speculating, but perhaps it has to do with the extent to which conformance and silence on the issue is required, and also a question of where it might have an opportunity to be helpful. In the cases you gave, if homosexuality is not illegal, then that lessens the need for conformance. A woman in an Islamic country, on the other hand, may have a legal reason that requires conformance to that standard. In both cases, I have nothing against advocacy, to the extent that we don't put the individual's safety in peril.

Again, we respect the culure in Muslim countries but not those of Christian faith despite the USA being asked to not have the homosexual ambassador be open about his chosen sex life.

Put aside the sexual lifestyle for a moment and replace it with blowing up small reptiles with firecrackers

Would we send an ambassador into a country who insisted on doing that in public if we knew it would be offensive to that country?

Theyre not. Theyre playing to their audience.

homosexuals only make up like 3 to 4% of the audience, the other 96 to 97% are heterosexuals.

So. Of those 96%, half of them support gay rights as vehemently as gays do.

    At least in America.

    irrelevant

this is about an amabssador to the D.R. where their Christian-led culture does not like open displays of the gay lifestyle

If this administration can be respectful of Muslim nations then why not Christian ones?

Where in the New Testament of the Bible does it state that gay rights are not to be protected by the government? Where does it say gays are to be mistreated or looked down upon any more than any other sinner?

If you can't answer that question, then it certainly isn't the Christianity of the people of DomRep that is preventing them from respecting gay rights.

It's not a double standard. The Koran says very specific things about how women are to be dressed and places like Saudi Arabia are theocracies.

DomRep is not a theocracy and Christianity does not require gay rights to be disrespected. It's not the same situation.

No they don't, they merely show normal interaction that is easily understood globally, not hard to understand really. It is only the idea that people must accept deviancy as normal that seems to be causing problems...
