Activists from across Britain are to mark the 65th anniversary of the Deir Yassin massacre, with a number of events planned for the next month. The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), DeirYassin Remembered and other campaign groups have jointly organized several commemorative events for the Deir Yassin Day 2013. On April 9, a key event will be held at the St Johns Wood Church in London. There will also be a commemoration in the Central London Mosque on the same day. Scotlands commemoration will take place at the Deir Yassin memorial in Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow on April 7. Moreover, a meeting is arranged at the Houses of Parliament, where Abdallah M. I. Eid, a massacre survivor, will tell his story for MPs and the general public. The Deir Yassin massacre was carried out by the Irgun Zevai Leumi and Lohamei Herut Israel Zionist terrorist groups on April 9, 1948, when around 120 Zionist terrorists attacked Deir Yassin. Deir Yassin was a Palestinian-Arab village of roughly 600 people located near al-Quds (Jerusalem). The Zionists killed about 107 villagers, including women and children, in the battle for the village. There is, however, no doubt that many sexual atrocities were committed by the attacking Jews. Many young school girls were raped and later slaughtered. Old women were also molested. One story is current concerning a case in which a young girl was literally torn in two. Many infants were butchered and killed. I also saw one old woman who gave her age as 104, who had been severely beaten about the head with rifle butts. Women had bracelets torn from their arms and rings from their fingers, and parts of some womens ears were severed in order to remove ear-rings. The State of Israel then pass a law that only those Arabs who are able to prove their citizenship are allowed to return to their land, now known as Israel, which meant these 400,000 Arabs could not return and lost all the property they had left there. We would sign a treaty of alliance with this State. Thus when we have broken the strength of the Arab Legion and bombed Amman, we could wipe out Trans-Jordan, after that Syria would fall. And if Egypt still dared to make war on us, we would bomb Port Said, Alexandria and Cairo.
