His fathers statements about his upbringing, and black residents in the neighborhood who have a favorable opinion of him.

 

This guy is not white. Get over it.

 

He looks white and even of he has Hispanic ties it still makes him a White Hispanic.

It hasn't been demonstrated he isn't a racist and I just posted an article pointing out he told neighbor to specifically be on the look out for young black males.

I read where he knows black people but that does mean he isn't racist. I know racists who have African American friends but are still racist against African Americans because they view their friends as the exceptions.

What sparked the racial angle the most is not that the victim was black but because the shooter wasn't black. The victim could have been of any color but if the shooter was black there is no way the cops would have reacted the same way. If Zimmerman was black do you think the cops would have even asked if he had a record? No. They simply would have checked. But with Zimmerman they don't even run a background check after he admitted killing someone.

 

Whatelse is his father going to say about him.

Post some of the quotes from these black residents in the neighborhood.

Maybe a bit bigoted or ignorant maybe, but not racist.

 

The presumptions are listed in the statute but none of them apply in this case. If Zimmerman had been located on his own property he would get the default presumption but he wasn't. Thus, we have to resort to the plain language of the statute. That means that Zimmerman must show he was 1) acting lawfully, 2) was in a place he had a right to be, and 3) that he was acting with a Reasonable Belief. (Also Under the common law of Self-Defense the aggressor can never claim Self-defense.)

Once these elements are understood, it is no wonder the police fought to keep Zimmerman's 911 call silent. It shows that not only was Zimmerman the aggressor but that he ignored the 911 operator proving he was not acting reasonably but with reckless disregard. Zimmerman's call also shows that his intention was to detain Martin and thus commit a citizen's arrest. But that means Zimmerman was acting unlawfully because a citizen's arrest is only justified if the commission of a felony is witnessed by the person making the citizen's arrest.

The fact is he profiled young black males before killing Trayvon. That proves beyond reasonable doubt a premeditated motive.

Even if you have African American friends you can still be racist due to assumption of guilt. That is why it is called racism. Zimmerman having African American friends does not mean he isn't racist because he still profiled based on.....RACE. This is why he called Trayvon a butt hole and said "they always get away."

You can say Italians are European, that's about all you can say. Again, Zimmerman is not white. I know that really peeves everyone who liked that particular narrative... but it's simply untrue.

 

His father lied in the letter and claimed Zimmerman never followed Trayvon.

It's absurd his dad and the chief of police are whining about cruelty because of their reputations in the midst of Trayvon being murdered.

The racist I've come across don't willfully socialize with others outside their race.

I'll buy that he's racist once I see some evidence of racist literature, web postings, associations with racist organizations, first hand accounts of his views... etc.

We have the evidence he told people to look out for other people of a certain race. That IS racism. Once again, it doesnt matter if he has African American friends. That does not prove he isn't racist and it seems you don't know what it means to be racist.

 

This doesn't prove that he's racist.
