I like the way FDR explained it: Only Congress can declare war under our Constitution, but POTUS can wage war as he sees fit, but he must soon seek advice and consent from the legislature.

So after Vietnam Congress passed its War Powers Act which essentially encoded what FDR had explained. No surprise, the War Powers Act has never once been obeyed by Congress or enforced by POTUS.

As Ike warned about in 1961 we are ruled by the Military Industrial Complex which includes the Deep State. As George Bush noted 20 years ago, the Constitution is just a piece of paper. Americans have been conditioned to accept that reality.

I suppose you have not seen or heard of the situation in many US cities, with homeless drug users living on the sidewalks.

Our government, along with the British, have persecuted Julian Assange and others for 12 years now, for the act of revealing the many crimes of the US government.

 

The internal european migration is not the problem.. some eastern men are coming to work but their families are left behind.
Life is not cheap in Europe , so I think the phenomenon has decreased.
On the other hand, Africans, Arabs and Muslims come with their families to settle down.
