Of course you dont have to be an Olympian, much less travel across the world to experience this.......Punishing Success/Rewarding Failure is the very foundation for almost every Democrat Policy or Tax in this country.

To consider Michael Phelps has won 19 medals......only to be punished with over $100,000 in Democrat taxes.

Income earned overseas is not the same as income earned on US soil. That's one of the problems. But believe me, by now I understand you don't exactly pick up on things very quickly.

I think giving a special exclusion for Olympic Athletes would be fine- it is once every 4 years and they are representing us, and this would be less than minimum wage for each of them if you consider the hours they put in.

But of course it isn't a 'Democrat' tax'- thats just the usual political B.S.

I have to agree that our Olympians should be allowed to keep all winnings associated with the games. They strive for perfection and give their all, not just for themselves, but for the country as well. I hope Rubio's bill is passed.
