in this story, a 95 iirc year old vet was denied a mail in ballot in texas link: Second world war veteran twice denied absentee ballot under Texas voting law (msn.com) now this (sounds) very bad. but when you read the story he needed to show a social security card or texas drivers license. now i can understand he may not have a drivers license, but a social security card? at his age that should be easy. but he claims he never had to do that before. well, well, times change. i say just get out your s.s. card get it copied and mail it in. no big deal. if your too lazy, that is your fault. no pitty from me. what do you think?

They don't even need the whole social security number, just part like the last 4 digits.
