Virgin Islands AG Fired for Suing Bank Over Epstein Ties

    Virgin Islands Democrat Gov. Albert Bryan fired the U.S. territory's Attorney General Denise George after she sued JP Morgan Chase last week for its role as a beneficiary in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking operation.

    George was fired Saturday, according to reports, which also coincided with President Joe Biden and his family spending the holidays there. Epstein's island, Little Saint James, is a small private island in the territory.

    Bryan fired the AG for not informing him of the lawsuit, The Virgin Islands Consortiumreported.

    George filed the suit last Tuesday in federal court in Manhattan, claiming the bank profited from its financial arrangement with Epstein, who committed suicide in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on the sex trafficking charges.

    "J.P. Morgan knowingly, negligently, and unlawfully provided and pulled the levers through which recruiters and victims were paid and was indispensable to the operation and concealment of the Epstein trafficking enterprise," the lawsuit claimed, The New York Times reported. "J.P. Morgan facilitated and concealed wire and cash transactions that raised suspicion of — and were in fact part of — a criminal enterprise whose currency was the sexual servitude of dozens of women and girls in and beyond the Virgin Islands."…

    T    his is so typical. Someone gets close to exposing democrats friends crimes and corruption and a democrat in close proximity to Biden fires them. Why would a democrat governor fire an AG for suing a bank tied to child sex trafficking?

    It seems like they need to make the AG Position in that territory an elected position rather than appointed. What is the governor trying to cover up?

    If JP Morgan gets a request to transfer money from person A to person B - something that happens millions of times a day - how are they supposed to know there's something nefarious going on? This isn't a drug deal where they're transferring millions to South or Central America.

    How do you know the bank didn't know?

    You can bet that if this had anything to do with the Bad Orange Man, the bank would be held responsible.

    I have no doubt that a democrat would charge the bank for political points, but that doesn't mean the bank is guilty.

    If the Bad Orange Man was involved, the bank would be guilty of everything from money laundering to killing Kennedy.

    But, running an offshore, underage brothel for the world's elite? Yeah, nothing to see here.

    The main problem I have with what the ag was doing was that she was suing the Bank, not investigating who the hell use that 'underage brothel'. Nothing was being taken any further.

    This bad conspiracy theory has been circulating right wing/Qanon Twitter for a few days, with the implication being that Joe Biden had this guy fired to cover up something about Epstein. Seems beyond baseless.

    This entire thread is silly... it was defeated by the OP with this clipped statement - Bryan fired the AG for not informing him of the lawsuit,

    Uh.... yeah... that makes sense...

    Just another chance to stir the never-ending Jeffrey Epstein pot... It's not as good as the Hunter Biden pot, but it's always worth a periodic stir to MAGA...

    Discovery in the court case with the bank could have exposed a lot of that had the democrat governor not intervened to stop it
