What kind of “regulation” on them are you proposing? The Supreme Court pointed out you can’t ban them, so what do you want to do? And yes, they are the most widely used and owned type of firearms in the country. That qualifies as wildly popular.

i don’t think you understand what the universal background check law in VA actually does. It would require a background check for every transfer of a firearm. Whether from a dealer, or a private sale (including armslist).

Another one that thinks they will never be a victim of crime.

    Well, it shows little intellect.

The industrial states are restricting firearms. So it is just easier in farm states
No you can't, not if it works.
The feds have yet to strike down assault weapon bans.

I’d be lying if I said you had a point. Let’s not attack a brilliant mind because we can’t refute her ideas—it’s unbecoming of a rational mind. Do better.

You can even if they work. You just can’t own the explosives.

Another mind that resorts to attacking that which they lack the skill, honesty, and integrity to refute with reason and logic. Hardly worth the effort. Be better than name calling and character assassination. You’re human, live up to it.

Deeper than you know, and when you realize just how deep, it won’t be pleasant.

States that restrict firearms get their laws overturned.

Yes you can. This is why you shouldn’t discuss topics you know nothing about.

None have been directly challenged. But the heller ruling is perfectly clear. You can’t ban entire classes of firearms that are in common usage.

The federal judges have barely overturned any gun restrictions or bans since 2010.
Then why don't even 1% of the population own them?
It also said all historic bans and restrictions stay in place.

    Irrelevant

Also irrelevant. You can own any of them.

    No it didn’t.

"The Court’s opinion should not be taken to cast doubt on longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms. Miller’s holding that the sorts of weapons protected are those “in common use at the time” finds support in the historical tradition of prohibiting the carrying of dangerous and unusual weapons."

Right, which is what I just said. You can’t ban the types of weapons you want to ban. It’s literally in the quote you just provided. Lol

An AR-15 is simply the best available overall practical firearm for my line of work. I am not a squirrel hunter, and I’m not a “real collector”, whatever that is.

I believe I’ve answered the 30 rd mag question for you in the past. But it may have been someone else. Am I remembering correctly or incorrectly?

When you think about it, gun carrying criminals are very responsible gunslingers as a group. They are different from the guy who flips out and shoots up the place in a fit of anger. When they shoot anyone, if they ever do, it is usually another criminal. And, unlike psycho thug cops, if they do shoot someone they are held responsible for their acts and punished.

Average gun owners are also very responsible or else there would be constant gun fire all the time. It would be impossible to live anywhere without the very real possibility of getting hit by stray bullets.

Someone is shot on average once every 5 minutes in the United States, I would classify that as constant.

It is only illegal if a jury says it is illegal. People can legalize any activity they want to if they refuse to convict the accused.

How many are shot by professional criminals rather than by psycho thug cops, or whacked out nuts?

Gangs only shoot (intentionally) other gangs. So yeah people outside of gangs are far more likely to get shot by someone who had a bad day and decided to shoot someone.

I think just being a white supremacist. is enough, you don't have to be all three

Trump thinks we should take the guns first, due process second

anyone that belongs to a terrorist group could lose the rights to bear arms
