I can see why Trumpers would be against these sanction.

Russian donations to the republican party are about to dry up.

The left is an absolute disaster. This is such a **** show it makes you wonder if it is all orchestrated. How big of a cluster **** could people possibly create unintentionally? Every single policy, every response to crisis is a failure.

Sure you can blame the left, or you can blame putin. What should the left have done differently that would have prevented this? Send 200k troops to ukraine?

Can't really speak for my rightwing or leftwing friends but here are three things I think Biden could do:

    1. Stop blocking the Keystone pipeline
    2. Impose sanctions immediately
    3. Find better advisors

I meant he would literally go take a nap, provided he wasn't asleep already at the time. Our President is weak and everyone knows it.

At this point, if Putin were to nuke the US tomorrow, a significant portion of the right would support him, so long as the nuke landed in a blue state.

In the event that Putin launched nukes at us? At that point there's nothing we can do but retaliate and wipe their entire country off the face of the planet. Hopefully Putin will offer terms before firing the first missile.

I'm asking you what he should do right now. The right says he's a coward if he doesn't act . . . but they also don't want him to act.

Remove himself and his party from power now. Not later when it happens organically. Now, today.

Brandon and the progressive Democrat platform are why this is happening. The world, specifically our enemies, watches the US closely. We're like an international reality show. They see Democrats letting rabid mobs of 'protesters' /s rampage through the streets, they see Dems demonizing and defunding police and military, they see Dems tolerating a 2+ million man invasion at our southern border, they see Dems abandoning their countrymen in Afghanistan, and they understand the base ideology behind these things. Dems love blacks so black rioters get a pass, Dems hate Whites and the perception of military/police is as a White organization and therefore bad, Dems love illegals so SA invaders are welcome, and Dems love radical Islam so Taliban/ISIS gets a pass. Dems also love love love love loveeeeeee communists so Russia (and China btw they're next) draws a very basic conclusion: Democrats wont protect their own and they damn sure wont try to stop us.

    I said...

Remove himself and his party from power now. Not later when it happens organically. Now, today.

This bolt act would send shockwaves through the Russian and Chinese leadership. The entire basis for Russia (and soon China's) is predicated on the weakness of America. IF the weakness were to be instantly carved out like the cancer it is Putin's head would spin.

Please explain in as much detail as possible exactly what you think Biden should do. If you're going to be an armchair general, go all the way and call the plays you believe would be better than sanctions.

You still aren't answering. About Russia. What. Should. He. Do. About. Russia? If you are still too intellectually dishonest to respond, then fine, let's assume he steps down and gest replaced. What. Should. The. President. Do. About. Russia?

You say Biden is weak against Russia, so what would you like to see a President do against Russia instead? Feel free to keep turning tail.

    See comment #42.

Or better yet, move to Russia, since you seem to admire their vicious dictator so much more that your own president. You sound very anti-American to me.

Again, maybe you should read some history first before you make statements. Also, it is common knowledge to keep your friends close and enemies closer. But then again, this just shows Trump understood this better than most.

    First off:

In February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. This event took place in the aftermath of the Revolution of Dignity and is part of the wider Russo-Ukrainian conflict.

Trump became President on January 20, 2017. I am fairly confident that Russian's actions on Crimea are not on President Donald Trump. That one belongs to another Democrat that failed!

    And then:

Here is only a small sampling of actions against Russia under President Trump. I can find four or five times these listed, but I don't want to do all your homework for you.

March 15, 2017: Three Russian individuals were charged for the 2014 Yahoo hack, including two officers of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

August 2, 2017: President Trump signed into law the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions act (CAATSA), enacting new sanctions on Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

September 13, 2017: The U.S. administration banned the use of Kaspersky Labs software on government computers due to Kaspersky’s ties to Russian intelligence services.

December 18, 2017: The White House released its National Security Strategy, identifying Russia and China as adversarial to the United States.

December 19, 2017: The Department of Commerce announced new licensing and export restrictions on Russian companies Novator and Titan-Barrikady over production of a cruise missile prohibited by the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF).

December 20, 2017: 52 people and entities from Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and elsewhere were sanctioned for alleged human rights violations and corruption.

December 22, 2017: The U.S. administration approved a plan to provide Ukraine with enhanced defensive capabilities to help it fight off Russia-backed separatists.

January 26, 2018: 21 individuals and 9 entities were sanctioned in connection with the conflict in Ukraine and Russia’s occupation of Crimea.

February 7, 2018: U.S. troops killed hundreds of Syrian forces backed by Russian mercenaries (as well as Russian private military contractors). The American bombing was launched in response to a surprise attack on a U.S.-held base in the oil-rich Deir Ezzor region in Syria.

March 15, 2018: 5 Russian entities and 19 individuals were sanctioned for conducting a series of cyberattacks and interfering in the 2016 U.S. elections.

They have no answers, only criticism of what they don't fully understand. There is no patriotism on the right where dealings with Putin and Russia are concerned.

He will be too confused to flick a switch. This is a man who when coming home to the White House has to be directed which door to go in. Just think of his confusion if Russian subs show up and launch nukes just off the Continental Shelf with only minutes to react. I can hear him now. What? What? What? What? ...... goodnight Irene!

This isn't the Russian people, it's their leaders. If the sanctions all go into effect, they may get hungry and scared enough to revolt against Putin. The value of their currency is already tanking.
