VOTERS? I'm think no. They are maybe looters or moochers or undocumented Democrats.

    But they DIDN'T VOTE.

    More, please.

Or two stamps to send in an absentee ballot that requires no ID at all. That's what I did.

OP article is full of crap. Early/absentee voting is allowed everywhere I'm aware. If people with ID problems are too lazy and stupid to get a picture ID or vote absentee, then they shouldn't be voting in the first place.

Every US citizen has the right to vote. This is not an issue of who should or should not be able to vote. EVERY US citizen has the right to vote.

And your point? I would find it hard to believe that anyone would disagree with that statement.

All rights come with responsibilities. If one is such a moron that they 1. Don't have and can't get a photo ID, or 2. Can't manage to think in advance enough to vote absentee where no ID at all is required, tough titty, let them sit at home, drool and pick their noses. No rights are universal, all are reasonably regulated, every single one... no exceptions... none. Get that through your collective rights-hollering skulls.

Or rather go out on the street corner, stand naked yelling. When you get arrested, be sure to tell the cop "EVERY US citizen has the right to free speech!" Get back to us on your happy funtime trip to the county jail. Be sure to tell the judge all about your RIGHTS. Get back to us on that too.

if you are not going to check and see if a voter is a citizen, what stops non-citizens from voting.

    And don't ask for proof........................

I cannot prove, what they wont let me ask.

Getting an I.D. is too difficult, consuming, and expensive?

    Give me a break. Really.

What's next, they will require that somebody pick them up or give them a free ride to their polls too? Oh, thats right, they do.

Your right to vote doesn't guarantee unncessary hardship on society to make that happen.

Getting an I.D. is not a hardship.

"no longer drive"? You drove previously, within the last 22 years without ever obtaining a drivers license? So you have been breaking the law for how long?

Ridiclous liberals believe their rights translate to everybody else having a hardship.

It seems our RW compatriots feel it is okay to deny people their constitutional right to vote. I don't really have a problem with needing ID but to add another level just to vote is wasteful, unnecessary and clearly wrong to deny something these people have been doing for years. I have no doubt if the majority of the denied voters were Republican they would scream bloody murder.

Nobody denied anybody. You're a liar.

Republicans don't expect that everybody else wipe their ass for them. Thus that wouldn't happen.

No new level has been added.
Texas has always required one to prove who you are to vote.
You have to do so to register in the first place.

Number one on the list should be: Registering to vote.

Yes, an expired ID STILL HAS YOUR FACE ON IT. But...expired ID's are not valid, because you cannot validate the address. You have to verify WHO you are and WHERE you live.

So I do not see the argument about not accepting an expired picture ID.

Huhm, in some blue states (and cities), the dead vote, but none of the above would apply. Come on, the dead should be allowed to vote too...
