    Hell you never been to San Jose or downtown L.A. after dark. There are places around that city cops don't even want to go! And they have guns, well sure they aren't allowed to use them, unless they are white criminals ;)

    I don't understand what you are arguing here. The Police responded (good guys with guns) and subdued the shooter. Is your argument that a civilian gun owner in the store didn't subdue the shooter?

    Contrary to popular belief not everybody walks around Wal Mart with pistols on their hips in the South. There may not have been any civilians carrying guns in the store or those who were may not have been in a position to subdue the shooter or may have been unwilling to do so. The article even quotes someone saying their first instinct was to run. That is the most common response by people in situations like this...

    Either way the cops showed up, did their jobs, and subdued the shooter. I don't understand the problem here.

    That's amusing because I've heard people scream about mass killings starting up in the future ever since like 2012 but none of that has ever happened.

    Then again, with Sandy Hook, Las Vegas, Pulse nightclub, Fort Hood, Columbine, V-Tech, Oregon, the DC Navy Yard and a whole bunch of others in mind you're technically right about the mass killings, given our country's gun culture.
