Washington Post editorial board: Kelly owes Dem rep an apology

I dont need the video, I watched all of them twice. If you dont believe kelly over this obviously anti trump vile congresswoman, we dont have anything to discuss. Did the congresswoman tell the POTUS she was on the line, or did she sit silently?

 

Did POTUS Trump tell Mrs. Johnson he had all his buddies listening in?

 

Answer my question first, then Ill answer yours.

 

No I am talking about where Kelly claimed the congresswoman boasted at the dedication about getting the funds for the building. That was the Kelly lie. or weren't you actually listening to Kelly's speech. If he lied about that which he did there is no reason to take his word about Trump.

Transcript of Kelly's lie from his speech defending Trump against the congresswoman.

" I’ll end with this: In October — April, rather, of 2015, I was still on active duty, and I went to the dedication of the new FBI field office in Miami. And it was dedicated to two men who were killed in a firefight in Miami against drug traffickers in 1986 — a guy by the name of Grogan and Duke. Grogan almost retired, 53 years old; Duke, I think less than a year on the job. (Editor’s note: The F.B.I. agent for which the building is named was named Jerry L. Dove, not Duke.)

Anyways, they got in a gunfight and they were killed. Three other FBI agents were there, were wounded, and now retired. So we go down — Jim Comey gave an absolutely brilliant memorial speech to those fallen men and to all of the men and women of the FBI who serve our country so well, and law enforcement so well

There were family members there. Some of the children that were there were three or four years old when their dads were killed on that street in Miami-Dade. Three of the men that survived the fight were there, and gave a rendition of how brave those men were and how they gave their lives.

And a congresswoman stood up, and in the long tradition of empty barrels making the most noise, stood up there and all of that and talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building, and how she took care of her constituents because she got the money, and she just called up President Obama, and on that phone call he gave the money — the $20 million — to build the building. And she sat down, and we were stunned. Stunned that she had done it. Even for someone that is that empty a barrel, we were stunned."

That was a total fabrication. Or what is commonly known as a lie. So based on the fact that Kelly lied about this there is no reason to believe his attempt at defending Trump.

Oh and the wife supported the congresswoman.

 

It was a naming ceremony for a building.

She wears hats from childrens halloween costumes but you are correct it technically is still a hat. Its a hat that illustrates the wearer is a bonafide nutjob. Trump screwed up the phonecall based on the word of the bedazzled hat job. Why was she listening in in silence? please tell us your theory.

The call apparently was on speaker phone during the call so everyone in the car heard it. What is your credentials that allows you to label someone based on wearing a hat even if it is a child's hat? That makes them a nutjob? I think your priorities are really mixed up.

The whole thing has been posted over a dozen times. The Sun Sentinel posted the video immediately after General Kelly's remarks. Kelly lied.

 

why didnt the congresswoman in the gigantic hat not identify that she was on the call and what was she there for to begin with. Secondly, turn your TV on, she now is claiming the white house is full of white supremeciats. Still want to stand by her claim? I wouldnt.

 

Because apparently the congresswoman was very close to the soldier and his widow. Why else would she have been in the car. You are getting pretty desperate. And the widow wanted the congresswoman to hear the call. Are you questioning the widows motives?

I see, so if everything was on the up and up, why do you think a sitting congresswomen sat there in silence in a call with the POTUS as opposed to introducing herself as being on the call like every professional does even in low level conference calls.

 

Well since it is proven beyond question that Kelly lied I suppose you are going to stand by his claim. And that Trump lies is beyond question. But thst isn't the issue in this case. You may want to try and divert but unfortunatly for you the facts are beyond question. Trump started the lying with his claim that other presidents didn't call and the Kelly followed with his lie.

 

She wasn't "on the call".. She was with four others in the limo.. and I am sure they were all speechless. Trump's WH is a reflection of Yosemite Sam's tantrums and stupidity.
