I'm stating that the thread title, and the clickbait blog post that he got this from, is factually inaccurate. No one in the video was stunned. I was just suggesting the OP use a real link, like the RCP one I gave - for enhanced credibility.

I don't imagine you have any difficulty convincing yourself that you are right about pretty much anything.

From what I have heard (from a post on this forum), 89 percent of people who voted for Trump say they would still vote for him today.

On the one hand, that shows that Trump supporters are still convinced that they made the right choice. That's why the story in the OP seemed like nothing significant to me.

On the other hand it also highlights that some people have changed their minds. Trump, who is already behind in popularity by virtue of having lost the popular vote, needs to make up for even that relatively minor 11 percent somehow if he hopes to win in 2020.

 

Exactly. I had a friend like that in High School. Dude could sleep through Algebra II and Calculus and pass with straight A's but had less common sense than a rock. He got a flat tire once and pulled into a steep wet ditch, PAST THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD, and didn't know how to change it. I had to pull his car out. Another time, he called me from the local gas station and had ran off the road. I asked him what happened and he said he reached over for something and had reached with both hands. He looked up, was in the other lane, and stomped on his brakes as hard as he could on a wet road. True stories. Poor guy. That was almost 20 years ago. In 1998, he moved off to Washington state with his neighbor's daughter and found a job washing dishes at a restaurant there. I talked to him about two and a half years ago and he was still washing dishes at a restaurant. Nothing wrong with that, but he didn't even bother with college and has washed dishes his entire adult life.

He has 23% support from blacks, up from 6%, so that should more than make up for it. And that wasn't from a poll that only polled 350 blacks, that's from a poll that was taken by over 600,000 blacks.
