Well, Of course Conservative Republicans haven't responded in kind yet, THEY WON!

They have the Presidency, both houses of congress, and possibly soon the Supreme Court. They have all the political power right now. And what do they do with it?

Do they be gracious winners, extending an olive branch to their opponents and shaking their hands? Do they decide to examine their ideals to see if there is ANY compromises they could make with Democrats to get more done? No. Instead, they flip their opponents the political middle finger and tell them to **** and submit. All while laughing and taking pleasure at their opponents misery.

And you think that attitude will compel any kind of compromise or civility from Democrat Liberals?

Both sides are playing the biggest game of political chicken in their lives, trying to make the other side start the next civil war so that they can seem like the 'good guys'. And it won't be getting better any time soon, IMO.

So no crying foul and trying to make your side smell like roses, I know better, and I am sure many others do as well.

For those people on either side that are breaking laws, prosecute them to the fullest extent. It won't affect me personally. I would never be attending those kind of events. I will limit my area of influence to the voting booth, as far as actions go. And I'll voice my displeasure of the current state of politics in any non-violent way that I want to.

Right now, I thank god I have a job, family, responsibilities. Because if I had nothing left to lose, I might actually be tempted to be much more aggressive toward conservative republican jerks that seem to be okay with doing ANYTHING they can to start the violence without actually making the first punch.

I consider those type of people just as bad as the people doing the physical violence. It will be interesting to see what history feels about it later on.

Sorry, but I don't consider those actions to NOT have an effect on how other people feel and think. I've was bullied my whole life until I graduation high school, so I have some experience.

This is why I consider those actions just as reprehensible as the people doing the physical violence. We humans do not live in a vacuum.

I assign blame to both sides in this situation. After all, in order for things to escalate, BOTH sides have to do the escalating. Otherwise, one side would crush the other and we would be done.

I think the next elections in November are going to be really scary. No matter which side wins, the other will be irate and looking for payback. Be careful out there.
