I'm not understanding why younger children continue to be left out in the cold regarding vaccines. I mean we have a raging world wide pandemic. We've had several vaccines come out with emergency authorizations and now one on the verge of full authorization. We've had vaccines approved for those 12 and older. We are now close to authorizing third booster doses. We have the left harping and harping and harping that it's all the unvaccinated's fault for everything Covid related and yet we have millions and millions of children under 12 who go unvaccinated. And yet we don't blame those millions of children for spreading Covid and, we don't give them vaccines either. Why not? After all this time why hasn't this happened? What is the hold up? Why weren't we working on this on day one?

Until not many weeks ago, it was relatively rare that children under 12 contracted Covid. And those who did, were unlikely to transmit it, or to suffer serious life-threatening symptoms, except for those with underlying conditions. Then came Delta. And the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA have been slow to catch up.

It's been slow in coming... But before Delta, the estimates were that their vaccine would be available in January. Now I just heard they expect it by Thanksgiving.
