What are the motives of abortion doctors? Should these affect the abortion debate?

I don't understand the question or I guess I don't understand why this is a question in which abortion doctors are being singled out. What is the motivation for any doctor or anybody else that gets paid to do the job they were hired to do?

With that said, I absolutely believe that the kind of people that do that kind of work have much bigger goals than money. Every doctor I've ever met that worked in a women's clinic or low income medical program have exemplary compassion, understanding and knowledge about the challenges many women face with an unwanted pregnancy. I have seen that kind of compassion, understanding and knowledge with doctors in private practices but it's not very common in my personal or professional experience.

These people get into those roles because of who they are and that takes courage because they are the first ones targeted when anyone wants to rant and rave about <whatever they are ranting and raving about>. They get threatened, there are bomb threats, protestors, hate mail, harassment, etc.. Those positions are not for the faint of heart. They can only be successfully filled with people with courage to stand with women in their quest to make the choices they deem best for themselves and their futures.

Ounce for ounce, I'd say "giving a damn about others" is the biggest motivation for most of them.

Women aren't a distinct race or ethnicity. Humans are humans, female or male doesn't matter. Abortion doctors murder both in advance.

Humans consider themselves as the highest life form on earth. Animals and fetuses are one level below that. So if someone doesn't feel empathy for animals, he surely doesn't feel empathy for unborn humans.

Women have indeed a right to their bodies but they have to share it while they're pregnant. That's nature. When the child is born, ownership of the female body reverts fully back to her.

My point is to save the unborn. I'm a kind of "Voice of the voiceless".
I wish that every woman could establish a mental connection to her unborn child.
Some do, but some, unfortunately, are unable.
