That's amazing. We're getting close to not needing actors at all.

I'm watching The OA again with my new GF.

I have probably watched it 5 or 6 times now LOL! But I think Brit Marling is a creative genius. She created, wrote and stars in this amazing series. I just love it and her. She has done a lot of creative work including Another Earth

I also score brownie points with my GF for loving the work of a strong, successful woman. ;)

At first I was really impressed with this series assuming it isn't all BS.

But now I have serious doubts. I didn't think the physicist on staff would be a part of a scam. Maybe he is being duped by other people involved. But I smell a rat. It is just a never-ending series of failed experiments and seemingly inexplicable results.

They have what they claim is physical evidence that they obtained from deep in a hillside with a drill. But I want to see independent verification of what they claim to have. They say it is a composite of the two rarest elements on the periodic chart.

It’s been a hell of a summer as far as sci-fi goes. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Orville, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Star Wars: Obiwan Kenobi, For All Mankind, Westworld, The Boys, Star Trek: Prodigy, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Dr. Strange 2, Stranger Things, Severance, plus I just started Foundation.

History has strung us along with Ancient Aliens, The Curse of Oak Island and now this. They’re going to mills it for everything they got. It is a shame though that the physicist guy is apparently in on it.

Strange New Worlds is the best version of Trek I've seen since TNG.

I just finished watching Boys season 3. I am a bit surprised that it is on your watch list since it is so political. IMO the show still has its moments but I think the quality has steadily dropped off since season 1.

    IGN gave the season 10/10

I am in the middle of season 3 of discovery. Once I complete that, SNW is next

I liked S3 better than S2. I thought that Soldier Boy was a good character

I am not a die hard Star Wars fans although I have seen pretty much everything Star Wars. I count myself more of a sci fi fan and Star Wars is just a major part of the genre. That said I think the online flack that Kenobi has received is justified. The writing is very weak and the best moments really are the meetings between Vader and Kenobi. I think the flack that the Reva character receives is also justified. I know Disney is trying to make it like a racist thing and although I am sure there were a few racist comments the majority of the criticism is based on her poorly written character.

I thought the actor did a good job portraying the character but I am just getting a bit tire of all the supes are inherently evil concept. Story wise Soldier Boy was the most powerful superhero of his time yet he is totally flawed and they did not give me an adequate answer for why? I mean why wasn't he on the beaches of Normandy? Why did he only show up days later for a photo op? He is indestructible and would have literally walked through the German positions. I know he is portrayed as a coward in the comics so maybe they elaborate more but from the dozen of so issues I have read the comics and the series are drastically different.

I have heard good things about it and it will probably be the next series I watch. I like to wait for all the episodes to come out before I watch. I have been disappointed with a lot of the new Trek but the best part of Discovery was the appearance of the old Enterprise and Pike and his crew. As much as I loved seeing the return of Picard and some of the NGen crew, the 2 seasons were blah. The only shining light was Lower Decks.

There were a couple of episodes that were okay, but most episodes were pretty damn good.

I find Strange New Worlds to be far superior to Discovery.

At this point, I've seen all the Kenobi episodes, and the Reva character ultimately makes no sense. I think Disney must have realized this since they fired the first shot, the racism shot, as a means of pre-emptive self defense. Ironically the actress playing Reva did a fine job considering the character motivations they handed her.

I like the storyline concepts of Discovery, especially the S3 twist. However, other than Giorgio and Pike, not many interesting characters

I am rewatching S1 of Only Murders in the Building as I have gotten my son into it. Though he gets to see it in 3 days as opposed to the 8 weeks when I first watched it

    Really good show

S2 is good so far as well

The one bright spot of Discovery Season 2 was the arrival of Pike and the Enterprise. There has probably been more talk about Ethan Peck playing Spock but Anson Mount's portrayal of Pike was so good that is probably why they moved to make a spin off with him. He really captured the idea of an old school Starfleet officer.

I felt they didn't really make a very imaginative future. It was very much a wasted effort.

I really enjoyed S1 of "Only Murders in the Building". Great to see Steve Martin and Martin Short together again and Selena Gomez fit in much better than I expected. Waiting for S2 to finished before watching.

I am only on ep 3 -so haven't experienced enough of it yet, but your comment is concerning about what to expect

I had said for years that Star Trek needed to do a show timeline wise far past TNG, to create better storyline opportunities without the canon limitations. So I was happy with the time jump concept

I actually thought Discovery did a good job introducing the spore drive while explaining why we never 'heard' of it
