You do well in pointing out several societal problems that need to be overcome regardless. Perhaps the bigger obstacle is the inability of the rest of us to get out of our own way. We live beyond our means. we don't raise our own children. Instead we let institutions raise them.

Im not into throwing good money after bad. The public education system needs a major kick in the pants. Focus on basic education and away from social reform and feel good fluff. Stop with teaching what to think and back on how to think.

"Maybe if the Democrats stopped focusing on banning guns and just adding an "education tax" on them, we could do that"

We're supposed to believe that the above is a "recommendation". Not a dichotomy...

Next time, you might want to consider reading what you write before you click "post" (<---this is a recommendation)

Maybe if you stopped clicking "post" before you read what you just wrote, you could avoid making a fool of yourself next time (<---this is a dichotomy)

Our quality of education has nothing to do with where they were born. It has to do... a little with where they studied but, more importantly, where they teach!

That's all well and good but what's his stance on gender dialectics?

The US is the richest country and can affort the best of everything in education so we still have good schools at the very top

How loong that will last is hard to say

But already often times the best students at those universities are not American
