People, who really want to fight the Holocaust abuse, should rather take on Hillary Clinton, who claimed that the Republicans
would round up the illegal aliens and deport them in boxcars and hugged and kissed Suha Arafat just minutes after she had accused Israel of "of using intensive cancer-causing poisonous gases and chemicals on the Palestinians" !

The derogatory remark that Dr. Carson said was denounced by the Anti-Defamation League. Dr. Carson is not Jewish and had no right to make such a despicable statement toward the Jewish people. Seth Rogen who is Jewish had some harsh words for Dr. Carson for making that Anti-Semitic remark.

With all due respect I think you read it wrong....the esteemed Dr. Carson was not making a Anti-Semitic remark....he has no history of that and in fact is a supporter of Israel.

Hillary should be in jail.....without the protection of obama that is where she would be....thus she can laugh off with much confidence any suggestion she belongs there.

Ben Carson gave his opinion based in what appears to be logic.

Unfortunately "logic" doesn't work in this universe the way we should like it to be.

If Hitler found resistance from armed civilians, then the number of civilian deaths should have been multiplied several times at the beginning of the war.

Hitler broke out entire armies, and armed civilians playing the "guerrilla war" should cause the "no prisoners taken" policy by the Germans.

The guerrillas war worked only when the Germans were in trouble after years of war and Allies gaining ground.

If someone takes the words of Ben Carson in this topic about Germans and Jews in the beginning of WW2 as offensive or Anti-Semitic... I hate to say it this way, but that someone is an idiot.

Nothing, absolutely nothing in what Carlson said was even remotely anti semitic says this Jew with holocaust victims in his family. Not even a crumb of anything to question. I totally agree with Cameron.

His words are being twisted way out of line just like Netanyahu's on the Nazi Mufti of Jerusalem's role in the holocaust.

The ADL got it wrong. They have removed his comment out of context just like what happened a week ago with Netanyahu when he was commenting on the Mufti of Jerusalem. Nothing in the statement was intended to insult Jews. Not a thing.

It also raises a painful issue. If Carlson was wrong then how do we explain the Warsaw uprising? Who would suggest Jews should not have smuggled in guns and fought?

I come from a school of thought that includes many of us Jewish like me and others who believe armed struggle may as a last resort be necessary to protect freedom. I am not condoning anarchy, vigilantism, taking the law into one's own hands or terrorism-but many of us Jews question-had we be been more militant what then? Its hindsight. Some of us fought and went underground and became partisans, etc., others honestly believed in their governments and worked with them in a sort of denial of what was happening.

Its a painful topic and no-I am not blaming victims for not fighting back of course not and neither was Carlson. He raised a rhetorical what if scenario of when and should citizens be more active in guarding against tyrants in power.. its a rhetorical reference made to get people to think...its an issue that is bound to be misunderstood. I will say this, he sure as hell takes on discussions no one else polished in media relations would.

It was not an anti-Semitic remark with due respect. Seth Rogen is a well known Democrat and anti gun activist.

The ADL misunderstood the comment as inferring Jews were responsible for what happened to us by not fighting back. That is not what Carson was suggesting at all.

    I don't understand your words.
The Jews were murdered, no matter, whether they were armed resistors (i.e. had a chance to be ones) or not.
However, if the number of Jews posessing guns (and trained to shoot them) in the occupied countries (Germany itself is a different story) had been larger, more Jews would have had a chance to fight back-and to survive.

    Me too.

Seth Rogen (and not Ben Carson) abused the Holocaust !
He called "American sniper" "Nazi film" !
    And the ADL remained silent...

So entire European armies couldn't hold off what at the time was the largest and best equipped army ever assembled but a few untrained Jews with guns are going to be ok. Is that your position?

Don't distort my words- or Dr. Carson's ones !
I did not claim that "a few untrained Jews with guns" would have stopped the Shoah !

    I merely told
You probably know about tens of thosusands Jews, who survived as partisans.
But do you know that many more were not admitted to the "Gentile" partisan units (and thus doomed to death) because they did not bear guns ?
And do you know, how many Jewish guerilla groups were routed by the Germans, because they were not armed as well ?

Listening to what Carson said and watching how many Americans support him, I started to think that school education in our country is a serious trouble.
