    I'm just admiring the double standard that has prompted legal action in the first place. You can argue it's not the place of the law to step in, but that doesn't forgive the double standard which sits at odds with people's moral objections to the law.

    It doesn't really bother me that either guy made the statement.

    Bill Maher is one of the few liberals that I can listen to and laugh. I think he is pretty funny sometimes. Rush is my favorite guy to listen to though. Obviously they can both get carried away at times.

    But there's a double standard against woman socially. Defend it however you want on legal grounds, it's a deplorable double standard nevertheless.

    I listen to both occasionally and both laugh and cringe. They have their place but the left has gone off the deep end on Rush.

    Yes we know. I wonder if Maddow called a guy a dick, whore, etc... if anything would happen.

    Absolutely nothing. Woman are now a protected gender. Just like gays. Just like blacks.

    If you are white, heterosexual, and a male... you are the most hated in society now by the left.

    It's because they don't. Liberals don't understand/don't care about government forcing things on private companies.

    They love government mandating things and they don't believe in freedom.

    Once again the left feigns outrage over a comment by a conservative, that pales in comparison to comments made by the left. It's disingenuous and boldly hypocritical. And they get away with this time and time again. It's time the right stop kowtowing to the left, and tell it like it is.

    I hear people say they hate this activity regardless of who causes it, and yet I never hear THEM complaining when the left does it. Why is that? It's only when a conservative says anything that any comment is voiced.

    The left has been proven guilty of uttering heinous things, and yet where is the outrage when it happens? Truth is it doesn't exist.

    So stop with the phony outrage over EVERYONE doing it, and start hammering the most egregious violators on the left.

    A PRIVATE insurance company can choose to insure whatever they want. You have no say in it. You can choose which company offers the best.

    Ever hear of the free market?

    Why do you authoritarian liberals hate freedom so much?

    Well, it's either that or he's looking for ratings. I can't believe he thinks calling someone a slut for no reason....unless he's looking for a way out of his contract. I'm sure HBO or satellite radio would scoop him up and pay him better, and he could flap his double chins as much as he wants about anything. What's so naive about that?
