But the religion itself, does not order you to slaughter people.

Religions do not follow what is written in the way you would like.

In general, a religion is made up of what people actually believe the central points of the religion are - which is not exactly what anyone might interpret all the words to mean.

Notice how none of the Bible predictions describe any sort of technology.

Bush was a good Christian. He prayed for guidance concerning Iraq and then wiped out hundreds of thousands of people. Turning the other cheek for some reason never seems to apply to Christians. When it comes to most religions the approach is to "kill em all and God will know his own."

Very few muslims can tell you all about Muhammed, the main person in the religion.
And it is written, plain as day.
So they have a whole bag full of Bullsh-t that they were told by their clerics.
And this bullshit varies from place to place.
In Christianity, everyone can tell you about Jesus, right from the book
They can discuss Jesus from the writing..


But not Islam.
