Your empathy for' Dems' is so heartwarming, except most did not want Sanders. Most did not vote for Sanders and they did not get Sanders. It does not matter who voted for which primary candidate-the candidate isn't selected by a vote but rather the DNC. That is to say, its not democratic.

Um. No. Its how representative democracy works all through this country. Not a single decision of the united states is democratic. Its all done exactly the same way the democratic nominee is decided. Democrats elect representatives who will reflect their constituants directed desires and they will cast their ballots for Biden as the nominee of this party, just as they did in 2016 with Hillary. There will be zero discrepancy between the what the majority of Democratic votes cast in these 50 states direct to be the result, and what the actual result will be post convention. Its just like Hillary in 2016. The person who receives the most cast votes, the person who wins the most state contests, the person who gets receives the most pledged delegates, the person who receives the most unpledged delegates, and the person who receives the most total delegates will be the nominee, which is factually what happened in 2016.

You are just plain factually dead wrong. Sanders did not win the majority of votes, or the plurality of votes, or the majority of state contests, or the majority of pledged delegates or the majority of unpledged delegates or the majority of total delegates in 2016 or in 2020. He did not deserve this nomination because he did not earn the votes required to get it.

the DNC has virtually no role to play because this is about a series of state contests, each independent of the other, based on rules that are written by a state party based on state political needs, long before we even know exactly who is running two years after the rules are written. Piddle your crap and division elsewhere.
