What is wrong with white male democrats?

Everyone knows that senator Feinstein has died and governor Newsome (a white male democrat) has said he will appoint a black female, automatically dismissing potential candidates by race. President Biden (another white male democrat) did the same thing for a SCOTUS seat.

I wonder how they would feel if they were automatically disqualified for their job for the simple reason they are a white male?

where is the moral logic in this? It’s setting a racial tone against their very existence. Why a white person would support democrats racist attacks against their own is amazingly astonishing to me.

 

Well, he picked someone that checks off all the liberal boxes. Laphonza Butler. Female, black, gay, pro-choice, and she's married to a woman....

 

And she doesn't even live in California. She lives on the other side of the country in Maryland.....

I guess she technically wasn't "elected." Kind of crazy he couldn't find a black woman who lives in California. What does that say about all the black women who live there.

 

She was an advisor to the worthless VP we have right now. I’m sure that played a large part in the decision. The buddy system in politics is undeniable. It’s also arguable as you pointed out that Newsom went against the constitution.

 

I can't think of anything more effective in undercutting the legitimacy of a pick than announcing one's narrow criteria for it ahead of time. In doing so Newsom did a disservice to Butler.

Does anyone know if it has ever been the case before that a governor has appointed both senators in their state?

I was a White male Democrat. By 1980, I saw that the party had left me, so I left it. I had worked in campaigns and contributed money.

BTW Fox News reported that the new California senator is a lesbian. So she checks almost all the boxes. She just needs to be a transsexual to complete the quadfecta.

you all can add white females as someone who was ignored based on their race. But it doesn’t surprise me to see democrats supporting racism and criticizing those who stand against it. It’s kind of a long history in the democrat party with that.

This thread isn’t about cabinet members it’s about openly disqualifying people by race. We could even call it black supremacists. It’s not promising to promote Latinos or Asians or middle easterners, it’s only about blacks. Totally disqualifying anyone if they are not black.
