A handful are, again, so F'n what?!

No. Most of them don't know what they are there for or why or whatever, they just care about this country being for all, not just the super wealthy and influential. So whatever the herks and jerks of getting the need dealt with, so be it. Haters can ridicule all they want, their time is near a very welcomed end.

We are too smart to work and become another corporate slave and are protesting for better opportunities before we invest our labors for the future of America. The wealth disparity between rich (1%) and poor (99%) has risen to epic proportions and it is time for the employees to stand up to their employers.

The destruction of the environment, economy, and middle class will not be accepted any longer we are not commodoties to be exploited for their profits they will have to accept our demands of basic rights such as free health care, higher taxes on the rich, and expensive environmental regulations or we will occupy their street for an indefinite period.

Take some time off work and join us there is no reason to walk by us in disdain we are working to help everyone get better policies from government so we do not have to be swindled by the rich any longer.

...and CEO's want 500 times the average workers pay. Your point? Why one is greedier?

You right wingers don't have any problem with "hurting" society for your personal excess. I don't understand the anger of the supposed "scum". Oh wait...yeah I do...greed, evil, that kind of thing.

Well, that all certainly seems accurate enough. Only thing I'd change is using "most" instead of "all". Show society something different if you don't like the stereotypes.

    My opinion:

Most of those involved probably have no flippin idea of what they are talking about, why they are angry, or whats going on in the world.

It appears to be a bunch of clueless idealist who just want to be part of some "righteous cause".

Somebody's gotta address the issues. It will always be young people that can change it. More power to them and I hope they succeed in retaking the future that was stolen from them.

No. i wouldn't. They're dirty, stupid, smelly, interested in sex, drugs and free stuff. They have no clue why they are there. They are expendable. They will be the first casualties in this mess if things get violent. They are being egged on by the left leaning media, the president and other democrat politicians. They have no concept of freedom, work, ethic, morals. The elimination of all debt indeed. What idiots. Their handlers want the destruction of this country. Looks like Bill Ayers is closer than he has ever been to overthrowing the US. But if this turns out like the French Revolution he and his aging hippy bride will lose their heads eventually also.

It's possible that this whole deal is little more than Liberal chest pounding, a ploy.

The people that the protests seem to bother the most are the wealthy. I can't imagine why.

Okay, that's what you don't think is reasonable. What do you think is reasonable?

But what do you mean by "get your way?" I think we can come to a compromise short of open violence.

You're really worried about this, aren't you? :evileye: I don't mean this as a snarky putdown. I mean, you really sound worried.

Some are over educated, know nothing, hate america marxist children. They believe what they've been told. Some have been in school for 7 or 8 years living on student loans and government handouts. W. More wealth and lower taxes for the super wealthy. That's their answer.

I think its reasonable that they go out and get a job. Nothing is free in this world and they'd better start learning that. I'm not compromising. NOT. another. inch.

Going by my experience in working in low wage industries for years on end, seeing how these businesses operate and the ridiculously tight profit margins these businesses have to work with. Where we're at now is about as high as we can get without major economic displacement.

I'm not worried, I'm angry. I'm angry that parents have completely neglected to impart a love of capitalism, free markets and individual success that are common civic virtues all Americans, regardless of race or previous national origin should share. We cannot be a United States without some kind of ideological agreement of where our nation should be going and progressivism is against traditional economic values of America.

No American child should ever be taught that the US Constitution is a lie. No American Child should be told that US troops are the real terrorists and the people we call terrorists are actually freedom fighters against American oppression.

That is what these kids believe and the only way they picked it up is because parents didn't give them the proper values.

That all sounds great until they get there and discover for themselves it's already been taken from them.

The American dream IS a lie for the majority of America.

Well, I refuse to share your disgusting nihilism and cynicism. You are a 9/11 truther and have zero credibility. I liked you better when you stayed on the 9/11 forums.

don't blame it all on parents. When the sixties hippies saw that americans didn't want what they were peddling they decided to take over thru societal and cultural avenues. They're teaching our kids. A parent can't sit back and allow the gov't school full and unfettered access to his/her kids.

I never liked you, and 9/11 WAS an inside job. Cynicism perhaps, but reality regardless. At least I'll see the truck hit me before it runs me over.

That depends on whether or not you believe that the American Dream is a birthright, or something which requires specific attributes... such as intelligence, determination, motivation, self reliance... etc.

Well, I guess it really depends on what one is able to purchase along the way, or what family they are born into.
