We know how liberalism started with the founding fathers and their value on the individual and individual freedom. These days, a classical liberal is what we term a Libertarian. So when did liberals go from placing the highest value on individual freedom and liberty to Marxism, socialism and communism? Polar opposites. Was it the indoctrination of FDR times when the banks and corporations wanted the federal government to have unlimited power so they could subvert to their own ends? Was it the craze of European socialism and Marxism? What? How did liberal do a COMPLETE 180 from individual freedom and liberty, to Marxists, socialists, communists of today.
