Well, we all know Islam is "religion of peace". The goal being that all infidels rest in peace.

There isn't much historical evidence to support that Moses violently and savagely invaded Phoenicia (Canaan). More than likely he wondered into the region with his people and blended in peacefully.

One point I have noticed is this:
If you take away the pro Trump/anti Trump subject
If you take away the pro gun/anti gun subject
If you take away the black versus white subject

What do you have left which is widely criticised and controversial
to say the least.....islam...(referring to topics debated on all forums)
islam comes up over and over again.....
    Why........
Because islam is not the religion it purports to be.
islam is a political ideology based on murder and hate..
It was formed by a murderer and it will continue to spread its
insidious tentacles worldwide until the rest of the world fight back
    and defeat it.
Unfortunately dhimmitude, victimology, islamophobia, multiculturalism, political
correctness and taqiyya, when banded together create a difficult enemy.
The world needs to wake up to the danger of islam..and meet that danger headon...

I've never said that Moses was a real person. I was saying that it's more appropriate to compare and contrast him to the likely imaginary person Mohammed than it is to compare the imaginary Jesus to the imaginary Mohammed. IOW, analyze their stories in the literature.

There is consensus amongst historians that Jesus and Mohammad actually did exist.

Not to mention how my English ancestors treated the women of Ireland.

Of course historians say there is. If they hard iron-clad evidence that those characters never existed they would cover it up because if they didn't it would destroy about 5 billion people's religions and people would freak out. Imagine all of the people who would become unemployed and all of the vacant buildings there would be around the world. Can you imagine Vatican City, Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem losing their religious theme park franchises?

Actually, those things are supposed to happen according to Revelation 16 when the angels torture mankind and mankind curses God. Church attendance drops to zero. Even the Pope starts cursing.

I don't wish to engage in prophecy interpretations and conspiracy theories. I work with the facts.

I find it not to matter very much. Jesus existing isn't enough to believe things he supposedly said.

I think your understanding is faulty.
I've never seen any muslim text or statement by any muslim prophet stating that war is the only way to spread islam.

Christianity spent several centuries spreading itself via war.

IMO, the major problem with islam is that it has done a much better job than christianity of keeping it's seats of governmental power and of keeping the majority of it's adherents poor and uneducated; and therefore docile/brainwashed toward it's failings, than other religions.

IMO, Christianity was for centuries far worse than Islam where human rights and enlightenment is concerned; but christianity made the mistake of educating the english peasants; which led to the masses rising up and throwing religions out of the seats of power, instituting self-governance and separating church from state.

To summarize, I don't think islam is inherently any worse a religion than christianity(I think all major organized religions are inherently oppressive); I think if islam were thrown out of the seats of governmental power and self-governance intstituted throughout the entire islamic world; islam would end up being much like christianity today; that is, increasingly powerless and irrelevant.
