Who is being silly? What, do you actually think that hermaphroditic do not exist? Well, I know for a fact they do. In fact, one of the funniest essays I read long ago after the Disney movie about a clown fish was how it was not like real life. As those are hermaphrodites, when the mother in "Finding Nemo" was killed, in reality Marlin would have transitioned to a female, so Nemo could have fathered the next generation. Hell, just read or watch the original Jurassic Park. That was a key part, that they used the DNA from frogs to fill in what was missing from the fossils. And frogs are also hermaphroditic. However, the highest order of animals that occurs in is fish and amphibians. Certainly not mammals (like dogs). So you see, I was being very serious. And actually being respectful, and not saying what I was actually thinking when I read that, and wanted to comment on what kind of moron would think that such nonsensical comments would actually apply to real science. *looks up and reads what forum this is in again* Ah yes, science. This is not a feel good political thread area. This is not where we try to show each other how "woke" we are, and say happy things so we do not hurt the feelings of others. This is a science area, where we should actually be discussing science. And to be honest, I find such nonsensical intrusion of things like "Gender Fluidity" in a science thread about as unwelcome as an intrusion by the religious nuts that try to give us some lecture on their Young Earth garbage.

Did I ever say that people should not be treated with respect? Look, this is your trying to make a half-assed argument based only upon your "feelings". The characteristic of being straight is not an outlier. Or is it to know ones sexual identity. Excess of normal behaviour is vastly different then inventing an identity far outside the norm of reality and then demanding we all live in this ****ed up norm. Stop excusing crazy
Don't bother. They are happy basking in their misery and self-righteous pity when somebody says something they do not like. For being in the science area, this rather quickly completely jumped all rails of science, and became about attacking anybody that does not agree with them. And of course making up charges to level at any they are pissed at.

Why does their respect and dignity trump biological truth or fact? If the truth upsets an individual so much that they feel they should kill themselves...then oh well! Such an individual is defective beyond repair and doesn't deserve to be here.
