That right there has to be the Dumbest statement I've ever heard in my 55 years. Why would Syria "officially" take transfer of weapons that the UN was ready to attack Iraq over having?

Russia still has a Naval port in Syria, they have good relations and that is why they have not been invaded by the west because China and Russia did not support it at the United Nations.

So Iraq had nothing to do with the weapons of mass destruction, Bush invaded Iraq very quickly before any WMD's could have left to Syria.

Sadam would have used those WMD's to save himself and his regime if he had them, so that is highly speculative to justify that immoral war that sacrificed many young American's.

Dec. 7, 2002 : Iraq delivers a 12,000-page WMD report to the U.N. in response to Resolution 1441. U.N. chief inspector Hans Blix says the information provided by Iraq is largely recycled material.

Invading Iraq ::: March 20, 2003: The U.S. military and other members of an American-led coalition invade Iraq. They had well over 100 days to move them, THAT'S very quickly?

    True.

Fringe conspiracy theories at least have some semblance of believability to them.

Why would they take them in any fashion based on that logic? Why would Iraq give them up?!?!?! That idea is equally as dumb!!

    - - - Updated - - -

Why would they have? There is absolutely no logic to the idea!! There was nothing to be gained from moving them, and a lot to be lost.

You'd think at least ONE person in the press would have been inclined to investigate it...right??

No, actually Iraq was not invaded rather quickly. We did about a 2 to 3 month "two-step" with the UN while some in the UN were trying to give Saddam more time. All during that time, many of us said, "Well, heck, he'll just have it moved out by the time we get through fooling around with the UN." And he did.
