Which Canadian would be the best to become C.E.O. of the CBC?

I have been giving this topic quite a bit of thought for months now and there are several Canadians in mind who I believe......
would make a phenomenal C. E. O. of the CBC.

One of them... would be
Mr. Maxime Bernier.......

.. .another perfect candidate would be Rebel News reporter Mr. David Menzies........

... another phenomenal C.E. O. for the CBC would be Mr. Jim Karahalios or his wife Mrs. Belinda Karahalios.

I believe that a rather famous Canadian comedian could do a good job of this high profile role.......

..... I believe that Mr. Jim Carrey could be an amazing C.E. O. of the CBC partly due to the boardroom scene that he did in the film "Liar, Liar!"

Don Cherry could be amazing........

Rex Murphy could be awesome!!!!!!

I went with Kevin O'Leary myself.....
because I actually wrote his name in as my number one choice back in the year that he at least offered to lead Canada's Conservative Party into the next federal election..........

Incidentally that was back in 2017......

O'Leary stated that he was taking French lessons, and he promised to learn French in time for the next federal election.[109]

On January 18, 2017, O'Leary officially entered the Conservative leadership race.[6] That same day, his former Dragons' Den co-star Arlene Dickinson stated that she found O'Leary to be too "self-interested and opportunistic" to be qualified for the office of prime minister.[110] In response, another former Dragons' Den co-star, W. Brett Wilson, endorsed O'Leary, highlighting differences between O'Leary as a businessman and his TV persona.[111]

On February 1, 2017, O'Leary posted a video of himself shooting in a Miami gun range. It was removed from Facebook out of respect for the funeral for three victims of the Quebec City mosque shooting on that day. It was also revealed that he was in New York promoting one of his business ventures when this occurred. O'Leary later apologized for the timing of this post.[112][113]

O'Leary was a frontrunner in the polls throughout most of his run. Nevertheless, he dropped out of the leadership race on April 26, 2017, stating that, though he still thought he could win the leadership election, a lack of support in Quebec meant that it would be difficult for him to beat Trudeau in 2019, and it would thus be "selfish" of him to continue. On dropping out, he endorsed Bernier, another frontrunner for the position.[8] (Andrew Scheereventually won the leadership election, narrowly edging out Bernier.)

Kevin O'Leary would not have caused Canada's Conservative Party to be divided... .like Mr. Andrew Scheer did back in 2017!

Your theology and a Basic Minimum Income?

I have believed for many years now that if somebody's religious beliefs is PRO-LIFE then they should also tend to support a Basic Minimum Income for all citizens as was advocated by Economist Milton Friedman.

An UNCONDITIONAL BASIC MINIMUM INCOME would give added life to organizations that are attempting to help the homeless.... drug addicts....... alcoholics...... the sex industry... gambling.... and would become a source of revenue that courts could divert over from fathers to a mom who has custody of the children and is actually caring for the children!

I am Pro - Life and I definitely think that an unconditional Basic Minimum Income to all citizens will positively alter the economy of The United States and Canada and soon other nations will follow suit because our history shows how this idea goes back many decades.

My plan for an Unconditional but Taxable Basic Minimum Income will cause EVERY ONE OF MR. KEVIN O'LEARY'S COMPANIES TO SURGE IN VALUE........ IN VALUATION........... FOR OBVIOUS REASONS THAT MR. O'LEARY WILL CLUE TO ALMOST INSTANTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The Bank of Canada was first established by Prime Minister Richard Bennet in 1935 as a private central bank, but was then nationalized by William Lyon Mackenzie King in 1938. By nationalizing the bank, Mackenzie King meant for it to belong to the people so the Canadian government could borrow funds with little or no interest for capital expenditures. The mandate of the newly nationalized Bank of Canada was to act as the banker to the government and to manage the public debt. As Mackenzie King famously said: “Once a nation parts with the control of their currency and credit, it matters not who makes that nation’s laws. Usury, once in control, will wreck any nation. Until the control of the issue of currency and credit is restored to government and recognized as its most sacred responsibility, all talk of sovereignty of parliament and of democracy is idle and futile.”

So the Bank of Canada was nationalized in 1938 and the government could now borrow money with little or no interest. And it worked. The Canadian government built freeways, public transportation systems, subway line, airports, the St. Lawrence Seaway and funded a national health care system and the Canada Pension Plan. But then Trudeau, under the influence of the international financial group called Basel’s
Committee’s Recommendations (The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) made the decision to halt the borrowing of money from the Bank of Canada, and instead, chose to borrow from the private banks who instead of lending to the government at no interest, or low interest, introduced higher interest rates along with compound interest.

All banks know very well the magic of compound interest. And Pierre Trudeau must have known that the mounting compounded national debt would lead to Canadians eventually owing a dollar fifty for every dollar of their disposable incomes. After all, he studied economics at the London School of Economics. Surely the professors there knew about compound interest.

So Pierre Trudeau, instead of feeling blessed that Canada, unlike the US, had a nationalized central bank, signed our bank away to the private banks. Couldn’t Trudeau, such an educated man, surmise that citizens in a few years would be struggling to make car payments and meet rent and mortgages and student loans and to buy healthy food while last year’s profits for the big five (that’s Royal Bank, TD Bank, Scotiabank, Bank of Montreal and CIBC amounted to $31.7 billion?) If he did, he didn’t care. But it doesn’t have to be this way. It really doesn’t. Our Bank of
