California used to be a red state. Then In the 1980's there was an earthquake, that opened up a gaping crack across parts of California. The exodus of conservative Christian sects from Califorina has left California blue.

I find it funny that Republicans spend so much effort bashing California, as it has lost its leadership position. If you want to see the new liberalism, the leading edge of society and the economy, It is in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado.

By the way, the demographics of California and Texas are nearly identical. The difference is Texas employs voter suppression, whereas California does not. Thus Texas has aquired the tag, No Vote Texas, having one of the lowest voter turnouts.

I provided the direct language from AB 1461. The Progressives at PolitiFact attempt to argue the bill was designed to register illegals to vote. That is bullshit. Nobody is claiming that.

The fact is, the law provides an out if the illegal was registered to vote "by mistake" and then voted based on that "error".

Does PolitiFact even mention the language in the actual law?

Here is what the California Department of Motor Vehicles says about AB 60 licenses.

This is a special driver's license that:

· May NOT be used for identification purposes.

· MAY be used to drive anywhere throughout the state of California.

· Has a distinguishing feature and notice on the front of the license indicating that it is for driving purposes only, per the AB-60 law (i.e. “DP" instead of “DL").

· Cannot be used against the license holder to determine their immigration status or citizenship, or detain them in any way for reasons other than valid traffic violations.

1. It does not look the same as a regular California drivers license
2. If it can't be used for identification purposes it can't be used at the polls
3. Also the requirements set to vote in any federal election are set by the Federal Government not the state
