Right. Do white South Africans dig terror tunnels, or fly Molotov cocktails? Perhaps, they (occasionally) strap suicide vest onto themselves and go kill themselves some black folkes?

 

Not going to happen for a variety of socio-political reasons. But, perhaps, you can point me to any African or other country with black majority that is successful? Without calling me racist?

 

Could you use a little more detail in your comparison. Look, I am not sure exactly how I feel about the Israel/ Palestinian disagreement. But, defending your home with fire power is not terrorism. Attacking civilians of the opposition with mortars is pretty close to being terrorism. Maybe you have something else in mind that I am not aware of.

Our Founders used sea mines to destroy vessels and guerrilla warfare to counter the imperialistic terrorism of the British. If mortars and pom pom guns had been available they would have used them as well. Call them terrorists if you will. I don't think you understood what I wrote. Lobbing 60mm mortars into a residential area is not something our founders would have done. Now, under Lincoln in the Indian Wars it was common place to mass murder women and children, but I digress. The comparison was that since the Palestinians are considered terrorists, the South African farmers must also be terrorists for using weapons to defend their farms. It is not equivalent, just like your analogy is not.

As for actual terrorism today, what the fascist government in Israel has done to Palestinians is imperialistic terrorism. Too bad the world has stood by and applauded their evils - instead, it should have been eradicated as happened with the Nazis.

As far as safety goes that is relative. Are citizens in Israel safe from Palestinian terrorists? Are American children safe from mass murdering gun owners?

In essence South Africa is not all that different from most other places in the world. It is part of the BRICS group of nations that are called developing economies. They are predicted to do well in the next decade or so as the population in those western nations ages.

Health Department is in shambles, educational opportunities worse than under apartheid, electrical grid failing, increased poverty, once was an exporter of farm products now they must import food, seriously corrupt police force, failing infrastructure, lack of international investment, explosive crime rates.
Just a few references below for you. It is interesting that rather than calling a spade a spade you want to call the truth-tellers liars. Why is so hard to connect that dots and admit that: 1. Blacks have tanked South Africa; and 2. communism does not work. It sounds good on paper, but does not, and never has worked.

We can hope that incompetence, corruption, and criminal violence don't engulf South Africa the way that it has so much of the rest of sub-Saharan Africa. Hope. But 'hope' unsupported by action is nothing but wishful thinking....

What is becoming clear to me now is that the only people who seem to know exactly what they're doing in sub-Saharan Africa today are -- THE CHINESE! In the next twenty years, look for an alliance between China, Russia, India, and Germany (as head of the EU) to become the dominant power in the entire Eastern Hemisphere....
