It may be racially motivated in some cases but, your point is a good one. It is not like cops abusing their power is something new - and it is not just one bad apple ... it is a whole lot more than that.

Racial motivation by policemen is incredibly rare. Black leaders pushed for the Clinton crack down on crime and the stiffer penalties on crack. They did it to benefit the black neighborhoods.

Apparently Google is not your friend - and it is no secret that so often - you have nothing. Perhaps if Google was your friend - you would not look so silly so often.

Lets see if we can find anything out there ..

. Racial profiling is a longstanding and deeply troubling national problem despite claims that the United States has entered a “post-racial era.” It occurs every day, in cities and towns across the country, when law enforcement and private security target people of color for humiliating and often frightening detentions, interrogations, and searches without evidence of criminal activity and based on perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, or religion. Racial profiling is patently illegal, violating the U.S. Constitution’s core promises of equal protection under the law to all and freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures. https://www.aclu.org/issues/racial-justice/race-and-criminal-justice/racial-profiling

Black drivers in America face discrimination by the police
An analysis of nearly 100m traffic stops suggests that many officers treat “driving while black” as a crime

For Black Motorists, a Never-Ending Fear of Being Stopped
Minorities are pulled over by police at higher rates than whites. Many see a troubling message: You don't belong.

ACLU, Economist, National Geographic ... are the above sources - trying to be diverse here... That was just on the first page.

Your claim that there is "nothing" out there is laughable and mindless nonsense on steroids.

Would you buy a car from a guy wearing a rubber mask? If not, why would you believe a blogger wearing the equivalent of an internet rubber mask? Legitimate sources don't need to hide their identity to stave off the process servers.

Do you believe this is fake news or don't you .. not a complicated question. Have you checked for other sources ?

Nothing there. There is no racial profiling in the US these days. Your factual sources are nothing but opinion pieces. Disparate outcomes do not prove anything. Each instance must be taken separately to show any type of discrimination. If a message went our on police radio that a black man had just stolen a silver Ford SUV would the police stop Hispanic persons driving a white SUV ?? Have at it.

I have no idea if it's fake or not, I live 2000 miles away. What I do know is the site owner went out of their way to hide their identity from the people they want to believe what they are writing. Sorry, I have a problem with that.

Why would I, I didn't post the OP.

When cops brutalize or kill innocent black folks it sounds like they didn't learn right from wrong at home or are they just doing what they were taught.

Maybe it has something to do with that pesky fact that a group that comprises 6% of the US population commits 51% of it's homicide.

The operative word is innocent. Run from the cops with a gun or illegal drugs they aren't innocent.

There have been studies done - one is given in one of the links. Each article claims there is a whole lot of racial profiling that goes on.

You running around crying "NO NO NO .. Nothing .. its Nothing" does not change this fact.

So essentially you have no clue what you are talking about and your only argument against the claim is Ad Hom.

That's not racial profiling, it's criminal profiling. If they're committing crime at a higher rate, don't you think that may explain why they have higher rates of police interaction?

Its racial profiling. Your stat 50% of murders from 6% of the population tells us what ? If you compare the number of Blacks who have committed murder .. to the overall population of Blacks - you will find that the vast majority (99+ %) do not commit murder.

This is then a case of blaming an entire group for the actions of a very few in that group on the basis of race = racial profiling.

Profiling is about percentages and odds.

If an area has a high level of Sicilian organized crime, do you think maybe the Sicilians who live there are going to be looked at a little closer?

In murder cases do you think they profile men over women?

When a group of people have a high incidence of a particular crime, they're profiling themselves.

Those studies are flawed. When the data is normalized for crime rate there is no disparity.
