Because slavers definitely considered what was in the womb of a slave as property and did everything that they could to make sure that it was born in order to enhance their own slave force or sell "it" to other people. And NORMAL adults don't shag spastically every time the urge takes them. We may be primates, but our management of that side of our animal nature is far more aligned to the prey species. We 'manage' our fertility ... basically to avoid starvation.
