Yeah, pretty much however, doesn't the government owe The People adequate law enforcement? Especially when the mayor and the governor knew what could happen.

The protesters had a federal court order. They didn't need an agreement with the police department who had fought them in court and lost.

I think you mean the ones that got a permit for a rally which was the WN's. The protestors (AntiFa) had no permit. In any case, the mayor and the governor did not supply an adequate police presence to actually enforce that agreement. They should have disarmed anyone entering the park including AntiFa.

But then my fantasy idea would be to put a 12' high fence around the park with 2 entrances. One for WN and one for AntiFa. Let only those with weapons inside the fencing. Then close and lock it and sell tickets to the 'event.' The 'survivors' would all be arrested and put in one large cell.

Idiots who did not think of the consequences of their actions are to blame for the chaos in Charlottesville. They include

    1. Whoever came up with the idea of moving (not removing) the statue to a nearby location without adequate, calm deliberation.
2.The city council which approved the move in summer instead of winter when the weather could have discouraged protestors.
    3. The White Nationalists who thought they could strut around town without consequences (yes, they had a permit)
    4. The ACLU which stopped an attempt by the city council to move the White Nationalist protest to another park
    5. The Judge who order the protest of the White Nationalists be moved back to the original park.
    6. Whoever failed to require that counter protestors get a permit so the clash of demonstrations could have been anticipated.
    7. Whoever allowed two opposing demonstrations to happen in the same place at the same time.
    8. The Charlotesville Police for failing the maintain order.
    AND
    9. The idiots who tried to blame this mess on PRESIDENT TRUMP

I put other as both sides were at fault. You should have had the option of "both sides". Antifa and the KKK were both partly to blame.

And weren't the protesters ? But you defend the speech of the bigots and I defend the speech of those who aren't bigots. We just have different values

Wrong, the counter protestors (not sure if that includes the antifa) did have a permit. Not sure where the myth (lie) that they didn't came from.

Other: A combo of poor planning by city and state officials (not keeping both legal protest groups away from each other, and forcing the KKK members to walk through the Antifa group to get to their area), Antifa inciting violence (throwing urine, hitting people with sticks, spitting on people, etc.), and of course the racist criminal whom ran his car into people.

You support and protect a group that brings wooden sticks covered with nails at the end to rally's with the intention of hurting people. Antifa shows up to the counter protests the left has and nobody on the left denounces them or tries to stop them. They then incite violence and attack people including police officers trying to keep the peace. You obviously only see what you want to see.

The KKK are not good people and the first rally was a mistake as a young woman was killed due to both sides looking for a fight. Yet at the Boston rally it was just a few hundred people with American flags chanting America and they were non violent people and still the side you protect showed up to shut them down and attack them. Not everyone that attends a rally to save a historical statue is racist. After the non violent people are forced to leave the crowd of almost 40 thousand people turn on the police and attack them. One person had a gun.

Do you think it is ok to attack anybody who disagrees with the left with violence? Violence never worked for the KKK so why do you think it will work for your side?

Denounce the KKK and bigots. I do the same thing. Having said that don't defend hateful violent people. Both sides are to blame.

Trump denounced the violence and evil on both sides and later denounced the KKK but again you only see what you want to see.

The message from your side is to stop the hate and shut up the KKK and people they consider bigots but they go about it with the support of Antifa who uses hate, bigotry, racism and violence to attack the very people they accuse for doing just that. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Again denounce the KKK and all of the racist bigots but do it on both sides. If you think there is not one single racist person in the counter protests you are very mistaken.

Well said. We need to figure out a better way to fix the problem. The police did much better in Boston so we are making progress.

I can't respect anyone that has to use violence to send a message so again I denounce both the KKK and Antifa. The left may have good intentions but the way they go about it makes their message get lost. If you still do not understand then maybe you should watch this amazing video:

"Red Pill Black Girl" on youtube with the message :
"I Don't Care About Charlottesville, the KKK, or White Supremacy"

I think after you watch the video you will understand why she says what she says and you may even agree with her. Video is 5 minutes long.

Many on the Left will always blame Mr. Trump, regardless to what the facts of the situation reveal.

What is so amazing is her lack of knowledge about hate groups. There are almost a thousand different hate groups...she should be concerned but then again the Jews in Germany didn't think anything could happen like it did

I would never stand for another holocaust but we are no where near that level of concern. The KKK is not what is used to be. Do you enjoy putting fear into people? Why do you want everyone to be afraid all the time? Antifa have become more violent than the KKK. Not everyone in the counter protest is part of Antifa but the message still gets lost because of the Antifa thugs that show up to incite violence.

First of all educate yourself and learn there are almost 1000 hate groups, with different names.
You say you would never stand for another holocaust yet you cannot see that Trump is playing similar cards. He is doing just what Hitler did by scapegoating groups of people. By trying to trivialize the media and blaming everyone else for his foibles People never dreamt that there would be a holocaust ( and there are still people in these hate groups that say there never was one ) but open your eyes and see what is happening. You preferred defending the world nazis and I would rather defend a group that protests against hate and bigotry. We just have different values

And another Trump Hater raises his dirty hand.

Instead of DEBATE you can only sink to the level of HATE and BAIT--all too common for those PRESIDENT TRUMP made fools of last November.

I honestly think the shadow government or another country will try to take over before one of these so called hate groups becomes strong enough to actually be a threat to the entire country. Right now they are just hate groups organized on a small scale. People should not live in fear every day of their life. I am a christian. I fear only God. If another holocaust tried to happen to many good people in this country would stop it but again we are nowhere near that level and probably never will be unless it is against Christians.
