"Apostate" is a religious term. If you're not religious, why would you use that term?

Again, you're speaking of Orthodoxy and/or Rabbinical Law. In general (reformed) practice, a drop or two will do .. as they say.

Mine as well. Many non practicing/believing at least give nod to family tradition despite those being mostly religious in nature.
