    Link?

The agreement that the Crimea remain neutral ie not a part of NATO has been clearly discussed in this Forum several times. I can't remember the name attached to it but I did follow a link at the time it was brought up...maybe one of our Forum's Russians or Jeanette will remember.

Regarding our destabilization of the Ukraine, apparently you never read the threads in which "our" (obviously deep state( Victoria Nuland was over there just as the Russian-friendly (but legally elected ) President was being chased out of office, and she was taped on her phone (by the Russians) suggesting who should succeed him? There was also a video posted in here in which Putin described how he had to send helicopters out in the dark of night to rescue the President so he would not be murdered.

Here's a good article explicating Russia's side, (minus the post-wwii understanding that Putin remembers very clearly):

You have all their talking point, don't you. I bet you have no problem with Saudi Arabia being our ally, do you? They were just responsible for 9-11. Do you think that Saudi Arabia has our best interests at heart? Please...try...to think critically.

Most people had definite problems with Trump and his two left feet dancing with the Saudis and omitting them from the Muslim travel ban because he does personal business with them.

It's the Saudis who donated hundreds of millions to the Clintons that you're talking about, right?

I'm talking about Trump dancing with Saudis and not banning travel from Saudi in his Muslim travel ban because he does business with them. Did Bill Clinton as POTUS advocate for a ban on Muslims with the exception of Saudi? I do no recall that.

Oh, I did not realize that the Saudis, not being included in the travel ban is what keeps the ban-hating libs up at night LOL

You people are comical in your hatred.

But didn't most of the 9/11 terrorists come from Saudi Arabia?

    Yes, enemies everywhere you look.

Especially when looking in some other direction than the one a real enemy is actually coming from.

Anyway you slice it, America got its arse spanked by Russia seemingly abetted by unpatriotic americans, not that american conservative jingoism will ever admit it.

They can also be quite untruthful:

Travel group lied about the so-called Muslim ban

The Hill ran a headline on February 9:
Trump’s immigration ban cost business-travel industry $185M: reportTo be fair, that was news, but the travel industry lied.

    From the Hill:
President Trump’s immigration ban — which was put on hold after one week — may have cost $185 million in business-travel bookings, according to a new report from the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).Using industry data, the GBTA compared business-travel transaction levels in the week before and the week after Trump signed the executive order on immigration and refugees. The research found that travel bookings increased 1.2 percent the week before the travel ban, but decreased by 2.2 percent the week after, for a net decrease of 1 percent. That amounts to an estimated $185 million loss for the business-travel industry, the report says. May have cost.

Then again it may not have cost.

Now five months later, the Wall Street Journal reported:
International arrivals and travel-related spending are up in 2017 compared with the same period in 2016.There might even be a "Trump bump," says Roger Dow, CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, a nonprofit representing the travel industry.A few months ago, Dow and others warned that President Donald Trump's anti-immigrant rhetoric and ban on travel from a handful of mostly Muslim countries could send an anti-tourism message. But "impending doom hasn't manifested itself," Dow said in an interview. "Right now we cannot identify a loss. It's contrary to everything we've heard, but travel is in slightly better shape than it was a year ago. Everyone wants me to tell the story of the sky is falling, but for the travel industry, the sky is not falling."Latest numbers from the U.S. Travel Association's Travel Trends Index showed 6.6 percent growth in international travel to the U.S. in April and 5 percent growth in May compared with the same months last year. The Travel Trends Index uses hotel, airline and U.S. government data. The doom and gloom was a lie.

Journalists should bear that in mind the next time the Global Business Travel Association spouts off.

By the way, the one reason I won't visit England again is Muslim terrorism.

Maybe Trump's willingness to combat terrorism made America a safe haven, which is why visitations are up.

Just a brief redirect from the thread drift.

Russia attacked our democracy. Intensely and purposely. If they are not our enemy they are certainly our antagonist

You think publishing real authentic emails and helping the American people make informed decisions is an attack on our democracy?

Dude, Americans voted, Russians did not vote, Americans elected Trump - that's democracy in action.

Duh, A Kazakh goat-herder has to explain the basics of democracy to American libs/progs. Sad.
