I'm wondering who the Republicans will choose for their 2024 Presidential candidate? Gov. Ron DeSantis? House Minority Whip Kevin McCarthy? Ex-Gov. Chris Christie? Or someone else? I think it will be Ron DeSantis and I think he has already started campaigning quietly. He is doing all he can to appeal to the Republican base. What do you all think? Question open to all, no matter which political party you belong to.
I would like it to be DeSantis, but of your list, only Chris Christie seems like he intends to run. I think the real answer will be none of the above.
It may very well be DeSantis, and if so I hope that Senator Tom Cotton would be with him on the ticket as the VP.
Maybe second on ticket. I think De Santis is the only one (other than Trump) to call out the press when they act unfairly. I feel that is essential.
I agree - accountability is vital. How it is done is equally important. Name calling, bullying and shaming is how school children behave.
Do you anticipate Orange Jesus will be worm food in 2024? He's not sane or selfless enough to let anybody else take the lead even if that's in the best interest for the party. If he's still wasting oxygen that could be used for a worthy human at that point, he'll be front and center.
You know, I think Reagan was capable of calling them to the mat where he remained likeable, so I know it can be done!
Personally... I do believe that President Donald J. Trump has the nomination if he is willing to run....... but I suspect that he will be given power again well before 2024..... step by step by step..... the truth seems to be coming out!
