The past year has tested the 29-year-old single mother in ways she couldn't imagine. Despite working full-time as a caregiver, she and her three children were evicted from their Mililani apartment last January when she couldn't make rent. From there, they bounced between the street and friend's couches before taking refuge at local churches through the group Family Promise. Now, Ching and her children will be one of the first 30 families to move into Kahauiki Village, the affordable plantation-style development that's been built on an old paintball field across from the Nimitz Viaduct. It was paid for through a public-private partnership. Each house will belong to someone who was previously homeless and is just getting back on their feet. Move in day for the first phase of the project is January 12. "I love it. I just love everything. It has a bed inside. I don't have beds," said Ching. "It has a ceiling fan. I've never had a ceiling fan before." Family Promise housing specialist Ashleigh Loa has been working with Ching since September. "They've put in a lot of work to be able to come here. We have taught them financial literacy, so when we're out and they're on their own, they'll be fine without our help," said Loa. Rent for a two bedroom unit, including utilities, is $900 per month – about half what Ching paid at her old apartment. "This is what I need. Especially being a single mom and struggling. It's hard," said Ching. With packing already complete Ching plans to spend the next few weeks just focusing on work and preparing her children for the next chapter of their lives. "I'm just so grateful and beyond blessed. My kids are grateful, too. I know they'll be so happy," said Ching. An ex saint trying to 'steal' the Bride of Christ away. Such things are not even mentioned among the Gentiles as noteworthy and acceptable more less to the Jews.. Yet the entire human race and animal species and all other living thing on earth and non living thing on earth, has to wait and watch as a rebellious child is at angst with his/her Heavenly Father and Christ and His Bride.. Maybe the entire Heavenly Family. So we wait and wait and wait all the while letting our very own kids be as that rebellious son or daughter. We can't do 'more' that God is doing, right? Especially if we don't know we have the rights to do so... Everyone will have their personal interpretation of Familial matters and ways... I have the heard the saying, 'I am proud to be a parent'.. And I have heard the saying, 'I am grieved to be a parent'. I have seen children be denied and I have seen children be overly loved. Once again a personal interpretation of familial ways and matters.. Other family's ways and matters should not be my family's concern since we have our own ways and matters to which we need to first tend to with the help of God, Who is Love. It might be difficult enough for any saint to remain a saint and saintly during times such as these.. And if a person should become an ex saint because of such things as these, then what becomes of their personal families? And that is the Blessedness of God which HE gives to all of His. To keep able. For HE knows what we are able to handle. 1 Corinthians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." His saints need only to cling to that which is Good. Romans 12:9 "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good." The easy part, or the difficult part, is holding fast to that which is 'good'. When a person is tempted, how will he/she know to hold fast to that which is 'good' without anyone to tell them or to remind them? Edification is needed.. Without proper friends or family to edify properly, the journey is much more difficult. The family which loves one another in 'goodness' is not easily separated.
Whom do the 'wolves' in sheeps' clothing have to assist them 'hold onto' that which is 'good'? But they, just like any other human, is a living breathing person who is also in need of a Savior. That's why The Holy Bible and even The Qur'an repeatedly says to turn from 'evil' to 'good'.. To remain with 'evil' will not fare well when the times of testings are given. Complaining that the testings were never requested will not avail to anything.. The whole world and all that are on it will be given these tests regardless of majority votes.. Noone 'votes' to be birthed. Besides, what can be so difficult or dreadful of having a good family life with your other family members? Those in loving families are blessed of The LORD.. Why say anything to the contrary? How long should The Holy Spirit be kept to grieve?
