Why all of the excitement over Black Lives Matter

They aren't a left wing group. They aren't remotely political. Their aim is the destruction of government.

 

I don't know that Police Reform would have been that hard. The House had passed a bill and then the Democrats blocked Tim Scott's bill in the Senate rather than letting it go to a vote, where it would have passed. At that point it would have gone to reconciliation and the House Bill and the Senate bill would have been reconciled and then sent to both Houses for passage.

But, BLM was never what it was first represented to be, and folks have been figuring out the truth.

They want to deconstruct the nuclear family. Most sane people.... like even Obama.... know that the lack of Fathers in the home is is creating devastation within the Black communities.

 

You missed an important statistic. If blacks are 12% of the population are they also 12% of the criminals? Go look into it. It will ruin your point. Most of the police killings of suspects are against armed suspects. Police killings of unarmed suspects are very very rare. So rare that everyone involving a black victim becomes news and that is in a universe of around 10 million arrests per year. Police killings of unarmed whites is about 4 times the rate for unarmed blacks. Those don't become news. Your beliefs are actually based on emotion rather than numbers. I know why you believe what you do but you should really think it through.

 

Other than a racist group who has a reputation of murdering cops, just what have they ever done for black lives?

 

I noticed you left out a few other stats, didn't you.
Blacks are 13% of the population but account for 55.9% of all homicides.
Whites are 65% of the population and account for 42% of all homicides.

Blacks homicide rate is triple per capita and you wonder why they encounter police at a higher rate per capita?

How convenient for you.

 

Because they murder people at 3 times the rate of white people.
