Gun powder can be used to make improvised explosive devices.

Yeah, and we used to make Molotov cocktails and throw them in the creek and later made nitro in the high school lab. Who cares and what does that have to do with anything.

Plenty, controls are useless when people can either produce or steal High Brisance Explosives.

Then you have experience with the construction of improvised explosive devices, and are familiar with how easy it is to subvert laws against them.

The nation of Japan is currently wrestling with a spate of suicides utilizing the toxic fumes produced from mixing chlorine bleach and ammonia. If such a mix were released into the central air unit of a building, toxic fumes would be pumped into every room to which it is vented, and most likely kill everyone, as the chlorine gas is so toxic that entire neighborhoods must be evacuated.

Detergent deaths as they are known, have even spread to the united states, due to the process being reported as being instantaneous and painless.

So the same old false choice. You can't prevent all deaths so no point in preventing any.

They make 50 round mags for Glocks but like the theater shooter found out, high capacity mags jamb.

The Orlando shooter just swapped mags. It ain't rocket science.

Nope, give up on DDoS by passing laws that already don't work and try something else.

The magazine limit schemes of the gun banners are dishonest because we saw what happened in NYS. BTW the VT killer used ten round magazines. Anyone who supports magazine limits is a gun banner and will ultimately support complete gun bans

Not doubling down on stupid by passing more laws criminals ignore. Beyond that the first thing you have to recognize is that the utopia the control nuts seek will never occur as we don't control other nations and money and power drives criminals, the second is that the news media is driving the hysteria with their control driven agenda and the third thing is that there will always be evil.

My biggest solution is to empower people to stand up on their own 2 feet and take care of themselves. Teaching them from an early age that the government is not the solution. We should educate from birth to death that they have a right to defend themselves and provide those without the means the ability to do so and train them. Of course we'll never know how well that would work because our academia are all brainwashing them the other way.

Doesn't matter in a no gun (free kill) zone. The Virginia Tech shooter had 10 and 15 round mags. You just change mags. No one is going to shoot back.

The 20 round mags for the M-16's in Vietnam (65-70) caused a stoppage, that's why you only loaded your magazines with 15 to 18 rounds.
The M-16 30 round magazines didn't appear in-country until late 1970 or early 1971. They fixed the problem so I've been told. I boarded the "Freedom Bird" in July of 1970.

You don't prevent crime with laws. You prevent crime with the fear of punishment.

Since liberals have also take that away, criminals, much like the honey badger, don't care.

Since our prison system appears to be full to overflowing I am curious as to how liberals have taken away the fear of punishment . And by the way mandatory sentencing and the three strike laws made no impact on crime.

So basically you have no concrete ideas whatsoever, except possibly more and more guns.

If no gun zones are so bad perhaps you can explain why the NRA convention did not allow guns. Hypocracy Would be an acceptable explanation.

WELL Yeah that is correct. It beats DDoS by passing laws criminals won't follow and has a history of failure. Passing more of the same laws is the pristine definition of insanity. Which basically means the anti gun nutters have less than any concrete ideas, they actually contribute to the problem.

I'm pretty sure if you turned around the reliance on the government and taught self sufficiency that over time there would be less crime and less need for guns but we'll never know, now will we.

that sure beats silly laws that left-wingers want to pass that ONLY harm good people and cause the low wattage voters to think something has actually been done
