It's the result of bigoted indoctrination from the cradle about the evil Russian Bear, and it lingers on in the tiny minds of the indoctrinated.

 

Russia is not so much "Hated" by Americans as angered. It is very clear to most of us (President and his worshippers excluded), that Russia has taken traditional low level espionage to the level of direct attack on government. Unfortunately the Government they are attacking has decided to allow them to do so unabated for the most part which angers many even more. This anger now borders on fear and is likely to awaken the sleeping dragon activating the backfire effect which may very well spell extreme reaction if not doom for Russia economically. Putins game is at a minimum risky but may prove dangerous for Russia....it is already dangerous for America.

My hope is our country wakes up and changes the power structure soon enough to prevent its own destruction.

 

It isnt about Russia, it's about having a scapegoat. See when a poll comes back favoring Trump it's Russian bots, when a Twitter hashtag of walk away is trending it's Russian bots. When your terrible candidate doesn't get elected its Russian hackers.
