Because people like to organize into groups and attack each other. It's in our DNA. Just like most other primates.

Wow! Qué cojones! I had always thought Buddhist monks, as well as all other monks, were just some more useless human beings who sat around all day long, drew pictures and begged.

Evidently, while the rest of world's infidels cow under their desks, the Buddhist guys are making a statement that they won't be bullied by Muslims anymore. :clapping:

Hopefully they won't get too confident and lose their heads over the issue.

You've never been to Laos where monks do a wonderful job serving their communities. Why do you think when the Pathet Lao took over, they encouraged monks to continue serving their communities?

Many Buddhist temples in Laos are also centres of teaching and learning, where monks teach the poor kids in literacy and numeracy. Wat Mixay in Vientiane is an example.

The high birth rate strategy is common to all major religions. It's why they exist today.

Ultimately, however, quality of life is generally better among societies that procreate less.

Plenty of Catholic societies also have high birth rates, and the consequences of that are usually reflected in overpopulation. Muslim countries like Bangladesh are the Islamic equivalent.

With education and economic mobility, birth rates decline, and so does piety most of the time.

The irony of the video is the similarity between Palestine and Rakhine. You could take a hundred posts of the usual Palestinian flag flying suspects in the Latest World news section and swap out words like “Jew” for “Muslim” and “Rakhine” for “Palestine,” and you get all the Muslims (I mean Jews) came from somewhere else up North and have no right in Rakhine (I mean Palestine).

Definitely some karma thingy; simply the Islamic world argues against those Jews (I mean Muslims) in Rakhine (I mean Palestine) allowed to come in during a British colonial “mandate,” so the Nation as Muslims have lost all moral argument and look like hypocrites screaming their occupation of Burma is different.

So supposedly the thing all started with a rape, like duh:

“The treaty of Hudaybiyyah was cancelled by the messenger of Allah (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him) once Quraysh had assisted Bani Bakr against Khusa'ah, the allies of the prophet (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him). The prophet (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him) fought Quraysh and concurred Makka. He (Allah's Blessings and Salutations may be on him) considered the treaty with Bani Qainuqa' void because one of their Jews publicly hurt one Muslim woman, one single woman, at the market." (Declaration of War against the Americans Occupying the Land of the Two Holy Places.)

Following those rules of warfare the Muslims can convert to Buddhism or be expelled.

South America has pretty high birth rates too. They're not on the same level as Africa or parts of South Asia, but they're still considerably higher than much of Europe.

Well, I'll put it this way. If you view Islamic immigration as a problem, then contact your government about it.

They only come because they need the work.

Ultimately, immigration from the developing world is encouraged for the benefits of cheap labor. Since there is plenty of cheap labor to go around, you can always shift immigration policy toward other nations. Plenty of non-Islamic nations can provide loads of cheap laborers.
