Why are liberals so protective of Muslims?

I never hoped it wasn't muslim. I hope it doesn't happen, period.

If there is soo much hate to christians, what specifically has been done to put christians into a box? Or stop christians?

 

thats what folks used to say about infringements on gun rights, mandated health insurance, tax debt based home reposession, no-knock swat raids, civil asset forfeiture, the drug war... "its unconstitutional, will never happen." then it happened.
We're not falling for it anymore.

The constitution is no longer (and never really was) a restriction on government. the government ignores it whenever possible. the constitution is a reminder to the people of how and where WE need to keep our government restrained.

Im not willing to sit back and trust our legislators to follow the logic of that. they're corrupt to the core. the right money in the right hands is all it takes anymore. 5 years ago i would have agreed that Sharia was impossible in the US. With more and more folks (from the far left) advocating for it, someone with the money is bound to lobby and start greasing the palms. I have to wonder... if ur so sure it wont happen, why do you care if folks speak out against it? Its my time and energy to waste.

 

That's simply stupid.. You actually think that the US is going to pass an exception for some Muslim who wants to off his wife for adultery? No one is advocating Sharia law in the US. Quit being a drama queen.

 

Islam is a minority religion in the West, practiced mainly by non-white minority members, so this activates all sorts of Marxist machinery in the left-wing mind - (poor brown people who are oppressed by the evil white capitalist system). They also share some of the same enemies, like Christians and traditional Western civilization, so they are allies in that sense. Muslims also vote reliably left-wing.

There's also a theory that the left has become so emasculated by their decades of feminism and homosexuality that they need to fill the huge void of masculinity by filling it with radical Muslims, black gang members, machismo Hispanics, and other people and cultures that are fiercely anti-feminist by nature. Their biology attracts them to these things, even if their ideology tells them that it's wrong.

 

But the Democrats and liberals have been responsible for almost all the hatred and political violence currently as well as the creation of the racist KKK and other groups that continue to divide the nation and keep us from coming together. Historically, it has always been the Left (especially the alt left) causing issues and keeping the poor people down and giving to the rich.

Sad when hypocrisy takes such a front seat for liberals and the alt left.

LOL - I don't think the Federalists who gave birth to America and the Constitution wore safety pins and needed safe spaces. They were opposed to stifling free speech rather than shutting it down. The Democrats today are a party of complete hypocrisy and violence. Caught rigging elections, caught lying and using Intel agencies to attack political opponents, caught wiretapping American journalists and interfering in foreign elections.

The liberals and the Democrats in general need a complete makeover. Still, it would just be a pig wearing lipstick. Better it be destroyed and rise from the ashes to become a party for Americans and America.

The real reason the left protects islam has nothing to do with islam but rather their best attempts to weaken the strong west through immigration and forced culturally incompatible immigration, divide and conquer..

The ultimate goal for the left is ultimate power and 1 world government..
Causing chaos and rifts in the voters advances this agenda, also directly importing voters..

 

I'll throw a partial bone to the Left and note that the older generation of leftists, from the Nixon era, see government as the enemy, and corporations and the wealthy that support said government as the enemy. To the extent they see or imagine any discrimination by government or business against any minority, perhaps they are reflexively called to defend said minority. And I can respect the impulse.

I say "older leftists," because they seemed at one time sincerely devoted to peace, integration, equality of access, and freedom of expression, both political and artistic. (Their parallel hatred of the military and love for commies like Che Guevara was disgusting, of course.) The left now of today, however, is devoted to the proposition that government is good and should be used to reduce inequality.

I cannot imagine the Left today, however, coming to the defense of any private business -- think family bakeries and pizzerias and Chick Fil A -- supporting traditional marriage or declining to provide contraceptives to their employees, especially on overtly Christian grounds. (Chick Fil A is probably the best example of anti-Christian bias from the lest, because in that case the corporation takes no official position on homosexuality or gay marriage at all.)

Let me repeat for anyone just joining us: this topic concerns the left's, particularly the liberal press's, protective instincts, which rarely favor Christians to my knowledge, and rarely criticize Islam to my knowledge. As for muslims, to quote our President, Muslims are great. They're smart and industrious.

 

Those "older leftists" weren't in support of peace, integration, or any of those things. They are a lot like "moderate Muslims" in that, when they are not in a position of strength, they call for peace, tolerance, understanding, etc. That changes the second they believe they have the upper hand, and then their inner Bolshevik comes out. "Peace" was the Trojan horse that the Reds hid inside in the West. They don't need that anymore. They are behind the walls.
