What does people moving in and out of California have to do with higher education levels in blue districts.
If I didn't know better I'd think you were looking for an excuse.

Higher levels of education apparently do not translate to higher levels of economic wellness, apparently. If those who do have money are leaving the states that have higher levels of education because the taxes cannot be afforded, and thus triggering economic stagnation as a result, what does such ultimately say for the perceived benefits of said levels of education?

There is a reason the state of California is regarded as a laughing stock in the international community. It is an international dumping ground for every country that does not wish to have a sizable migrant population in their own territories.

"Why are we a divided Nation?"

    It's the strategy.

By your logic we should just ask the surviving Koch brother to pick the next president

Liberals want to make the divide as between the educated and uneducated where as the divide is really between minorities and whites. Educated whites who supported Clinton are in the minority.

    Van Jones had it right.

I'm not sure what kind of argument you are trying to make.
Are you trying to say California has high taxes because they have high education levels?
    I think your just lost.

But if you want to play games around the fine print I would maintain those educated whites were not from blue districts.

Which educated whites? The ones who voted for Trump? Well, I have no statistics either way but at least some of them had to be.

I didn't say anything about votes. You ignored that.
It's really a simple statement that I made - well actually that the Wall Street Journal made that blue districts are better educated.

In the first link it says:
"In the 2016 election, a wide gap in presidential preferences emerged between those with and without a college degree. College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point advantage (52% - 43%) while those without a college degree backed Trump 52% - 44%."

This is actually quite common in conservative propaganda. Falsely claiming a reputable source supports their false claim, knowing full well that the base will never read the source.

Did you cut and paste your post from a right wing propaganda site?

And what I said was "In any case, white college graduates prefer Republicans"

Which is a true claim. If you are a Clinton voter, you are in a minority in this demographic. Live with it.

Let me clear it up for you.
My statement simply points out the facts between blue and red districts and why there is a divide.
The blue districts are better educated, make more money and contribute more to the GDP.
So the people in the blue districts are happier with their pay and feel better about their contribution to the economy. They feel this way because their education helped them.
People from the red states feel like their wages are $hit and they have lost their low skilled jobs to automation and trade, therefore they don't feel good about themselves.

I know you have no real statistics to back your claims. In every center of innovation, in the US, the local politics are quite liberal.

In Boulder, where 2/3rds of the population has a college degree, the politics are perhaps the most liberal, anywhere in the world. For instance, in the 2000 election, in Boulder county, Ralph Nader got 29% of the vote and Gore still handily beat Bush.

Other places where the rate of college educated people is high, such as Seattle, the Bay Area, Chicago, and Boston are similarly more liberal than the rest of the nation.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that liberalism is an outgrowth of the scientific worldview whereas conservatism is an outgrowth of the religious worldview.

Just about every innovator has been liberal leaning. It is just the way it is.

Most college educated whites live in red districts? I thought the argument was that they live in blue districts.
