If you can't discuss how the study is designed, what the inclusion criteria are, the data collection methods, analysis and how the conclusions are obtained, (example: this is due to a universal healthcare system), you don't know jack **** about your study.

What costs are included in your analysis?
    Medicare payouts?
    Infrastructure and maintenence?
    Tech infrastructure?
    Employee benefits?
    HHS spending?

I'll wait patiently for your educated response?

You need a study to tell you ours costs twice as much even while we don't live as long?

Total cost per person, by age.
    Keeps it simple that way.

I guess those boyahs in CA can soon find out just how correct you are, because they're gonna basically fund healthcare for everybody from state funds.

Should be interesting to see how that works out.

Probably won't work. It needs to be nationwide.

Why would that make a difference?

If you can't do it on a state wide basis, then all that nonsense about how it's cheaper by the bunch is just nonsense. Either show the rest of us how wonderful your ideas are without our help, or bugger off.

Let CA pay for it. I'd be ok with that.

How will they get the Medicare and Medicaid money from the feds.
How can they bring downward pressure on drug costs while the rest of the country is still paying four times as much as Canada.
I'm sure there are more, but you can get the idea.

Yeah, I get the idea. Tons of excuses and CA can't do it unless everybody else in the country signs up to this stupid idea.

No, we don't need you. Just take your stupid socialism and kindly piss off.

    Gee!
I was just trying to answer your question. I didn't promise to make you happy. :)
But don't worry, you will be happy once it's done.

Yes, this is always the progressive answer. You can't explain dick, but we'll all be as happy as Venezuelans at a rat eating party just as soon as you get your way.

You damn marxists have always predicted that your piss poor ideas will eventually come to fruitition, and every time they do, you end up saying "well this ain't exactly what we had in mind, so let's try again"

Let's forego your stupidity from the get-go.

very cute. No, I just like to use the "do it in your own state" rebuttal whenever socialists start talking about how their ideas are so wonderful, and they always come back with "My ideas only work if you pay for them" response.

It works every time. You guys are as predictable as the tide.

Universal health care is not free, but it will save Americans a ton of money.

Unions being profiteeting schemes is one of the biggest talking points on the right. It has nothing to do with the mafia. They claim the entire concept of unions was based on profiteering.

To try and connect unions to church-run hospitals by virtue of nonprofit status is both nonsensical and disingenuous. To call doing so a strawman, is an understatement.

Many of the biggest non-profit hispitals pay their top executives multi-million dollar salaries. They have the same incentives to overcharge and misrepresent funding as corrupt union officials do.

Tell that to your state. I know better because you've already admitted that it won't work if limited to your state.

This is why I tell you socialists to keep your stupid ideas local. You always always always admit that they don't really work, but maybe if you can get everybody to go along with your stupid idea, then maybe...

    just NO!!!

I tried today, as a new resident of Idaho, to get Medicare. I know the doctor is a GP doctor. But alas, his staff informed me he only serves children. Guess he does not like the Fed medicare program.

A pediatrician is a specialist. Every doctor starts out as a GP, but then they specialize because that's where the money is.

Nonsense. The argument against unions is that their product is not needed and that they are basically running an extortion racket behind the facade of workers rights. Nobody argues that a Hospital does not have a product that is needed. There is no comparison whatsoever between the two. This entire tangent is a ridiculous strawman.

Thank you for that important bit of information addressed to the rest of the forum.

But to clear up for the rest of the forum, you do not believe that his getting chopped way back on his bills by medicare matters to him?

Also learned this new thing about Idaho. This was explained to me by the fishing license vendor. I must supply an Idaho ID card, such as a driver's license with photo, plus live here as a resident for 6 months to get a residents fishing license. They charge higher fees for the license otherwise.

Chopped back on his bills? How does that work exactly?
