I like listening to Right Wing commentary about "Securing Our Border" YET why didn't the GOP ever SECURE that BORDER when they HAD POWER



I am am also willing to BET that if they get POWER Again the Border Still won't be SECURED

 

Good question. In the late 1980's there was the Reagan amnesty in which the democrats lied and blocked the parts about securing the border. Why Bush Sr or a later Republican Congress didnt step up & secure the border is unknown.

But in the past several years its become a major division in the Republican party. The "GOP" establishment wing wants amnesty for the cheap labor, and in some misguided and bizarre idea that all those latinos receiving amnesty will be grateful to the R's and vote R. The Tea Party/conservative wing is adamantly opposed to amnesty because illegal acts should not be rewarded, the massive influx of poorly educated & low skilled people will drive wages down and welfare expenses way up, and amnesty is just a scam by the Demoncrats to buy 10's of millions of big govt voters.

Boehner and Mcconnell have already told the US Chamber of Commerce that they support amnesty, and they are just waiting until after the election when they will be beyond the reach of Citizens they claim to represent.

The border will only be secured if true conservatives win enough seats to force the issue. Chances are that wont happen.

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh awhile back and he said that "secretly" the establishment GOP wants Obama to go it alone on amnesty so they aint gotta do it themselves .

The Us Chamber Of Commerce has powerful friends within the party and they want amnesty for Cheap Labor.

 

Sounds good to me. Ol' Nate wants cheap labour, too. Nate has a couple of enterprising young south-of-the-border fellas working his rental property in the Sacred Heartland.

 

Well if that's the case then you forfeit all of your complaining rights when a displaced American Citizen turns to the system for support or to supplement the paltry wages at their new job in the service sector

 

Why you ask. Here's why. Because BOTH parties are basically whores and the US is getting screwed that's why....

Basically we are getting scammed either way the only choice people really have is to vote the Lesser of Two Evils based upon personal interests that are far overshadowed by the interests of the powerful and elite
