Of course, it matters. The fewer people people owning guns the better.

BS, that's why firearm companies are making more money than ever. The service industries are doing even better. Besides most liberals struggle with 5th grade math if they can do it all.

that shows that you have no interest in preventing crime but you merely want to ban guns. The good news-when the crap hits the fan, its the gun banners who will be rather scarce I suspect. You all want to start a civil war over this-its not going to turn out well for people like you if you start one

yep, only people who have never been around a shooting range, a gun club or have taken a CCW class, can pretend that gun ownership is on the decline

It just goes to show the insanity that is liberalism. They will parrot liberal talking points till the cows come home and then some. It's just a classic example of a delusion.

Which is about as nonsensical as someone who spends a lot of time in bars claiming that the percentage of Americans who drink can't possibly be on the decline.

That gun are not a consumable should be kept in mind when reviewing gun sales and firearms manufacturer stock prices ... 70% increase in 2015 alone...their profits and stock prices reflect grow counter to VPC endorsed polls.
    http://money.cnn.com/2015/10/05/investing/gun-stocks-surge-2015/
The bs narrative that guns are being acquired in decreasing numbers doesn't reflect the increase in gun related assessories, rising attendence at gun show, a major increase in gun shops and ranges, and other such indicators. Of course the BM would have us believe all these new guns on the market reflect a handful of gun owners adding to their collections. Nor do the VPC narratives account for increases of gun sales to women and minorities.
    http://www.newstimes.com/local/article/Gun-ownership-more-female-than-ever-8348844.php

The ATF's figures conflict with the polls...
    https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/data-statistics

The increse in profits shown among domestic suppliers does take in account from the imports from foreign suppliers and combined reflected a growing demand during the OBama years. The increase among minorities has been stimulated by Trump's election.

It's not a difficult thing to go to the ATF site and check the increasing numbers of BC checks, applications for FFL licenses, and other indicators, none of which show a decline.

Considering many have watched Hillary and OBama reveal their intentions and there has been an increase of distrust in the government to the point where it is the number one issue of Americans.

    http://www.gallup.com/poll/5392/trust-government.aspx
    https://www.issueone.org/poll-shows-new-high-in-government-distrust/

Then too, many are watching states that have banned various weapons, add in increasing revelations of NSA and other domestic spying and how many people do you think are willing to answer questions of gun ownership. The numbers reflected in the polls could as easily corespond with rising distrust of government. I know few gun owners that would be willing to convey information to a pollster over the phone.

And, I note... the Pools were right about Trump, eh?

It's not the same thing and only a weak mind could believe there is a logical association.

Now you're grasping for straws. None of this means that the percentage of Americans who own guns is increasing. If you can't understand that then your math skills suck.

Because there is nothing like having a firearm when faced with a head chopping zealot, that happened to me just the other day.

It is falling, among households, it doesn't matter if you don't like it, thems the facts,
and the people who should be most concerned aren't the head-chopping zealots
but the wives of the guys who own firearms.

Last year that I looked it was 830ish dead wives and zero head chopping zealots

    Let's test your polling.

Go ahead and ask me if there are any guns in my household.

the lobby of the supermarket right next to the claw machine but I didn't have any
    quarters.

There's insufficient data to show one way or the other.

Funny, when confronted with the FACTS you want to change your number of people
who have CCWs to people who don't have CCWs but could get them if they wanted
to and maybe even the guys who had CCWs but have died by the thought is there.

Guns also increase the capability of self defense.

    How would you know?

    HAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAH!

When you don't like the numbers you make new ones up!

Why would anyone bother giving you proof of ANYTHING?

I don't know why we waste our time. These people aren't interested in facts! The only thing they do is fear monger.

Surely you aren't referring to polls as facts.
