Because she's seems to be another one of those...savior-candidates. I guess that's not really singling her out since ALL candidates are savior-candidates who- seeing the nation in such a state- are willing to step up to the plate like the martyrs they are and fight the good fight. For the people. For ME.

Of course...I've seen this before and one of the biggest examples and disappointments is Barack Obama. But it's also people like Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, Elizabeth Warren. They all swoon to their bases and say how they are going to undergo these radical policies that will help their base. The more radical the more exciting.

But Ilhan is slightly different. Most candidates swear the government is evil and want to be elected into it at the same time. Ilhan, however, claims to know the government is evil and that it is thoroughly compromised by the Israeli State. My question is that if she's willing to state this, she must know the extensive list of crimes of the US and Israel. And in so knowing...why would she ever even join the US Government? Yes, the idea that you're going to fight to change the system is romantic, but it's also mind-blowing in it's juvenile naivete. With the recent Elizabeth Warren debacle where- even before being elected- she's already caved into corporate financing for her campiagn- we can see just how fraudulent these people are. But Ilhan and the hyper-progressives cloak themselves in progressive utopianisms that tend to excite their base because they give voice to frustrations BUT...

What has Omar really done? I mean...practically. What are here achievements? Anyone can say they tried or were trying. Anyone can say how hard they were trying, but the competition was too big. But Omar really doesn't have any achievements. She seems to me to be all talk. In fact, she reminds me of another talker. Ocasio-Cortez. This brand new politico just appeared on the political map and she's already jabbing fingers in the face of high-profile politico's and being centered on various panels and commissions when she should be taxing these peoples coffee to and fro. She's given a lot of media attention and, again, I am suspicious. Why? And to what end? Aside from constantly mouthing off...what has she done?

What mouthing off has done for Omar and Cortez is boost their public profile and that is gold as a politician because it makes you electable. It means people will listen to and follow them and if they endorse or propose something, their bases will out of pure momentum. Omar is very vocal about her antagonism with Israel, but I am getting the feeling it's all talk. That she's just playing a role and that she's just another slime-ball politician working an angle to endear herself with a national sentiment that's on the rise. She's a false-savior. She comes wrapped in the aesthetic but she's another Whole of Babylon selling herself out for a better career and who knows what else.

Pure speculation, but I think it's worth digging into some more.

She's also a currently uncharged felon, with such viciously antisemetic views that the Nation of Israel will not even allow her to set foot in the country. Pretty sad to have a person so vile on our Foreign Affairs committee that she cannot even enter an aligned nation.

SPOTLIGHT STAYS ON VILE ILHAN OMAR:

“…her modus operandi has consisted of nonresponse responses combined with imputations of bigotry.”
Of course — she attempts to intimidate and silence legitimate questions and discussion.

I don't trust her, because she's an ungrateful incestuous fraud.

Somebody doesn't know the definition of a felon. And as far as Israel....

On Thursday, Netanyahu abruptly reversed an earlier decision to grant permission to enter Israel to Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. The two first-term congresswomen, who were planning a fact-finding trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories, have been fiercely critical of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians and support an international boycott movement against Israel.

The decision came shortly after Trump tweeted that allowing the women to enter Israel would “show great weakness.”

The clown in the WH is bad mouthing his own people to Israel. He's a pathetic little child.

    Fraud is a felony.

There's much evidence she committed immigration, and tax fraud.

    Investigations are under way.

Hint. You can't be felon until you are convicted of a crime.

Which I'm sure is why the "uncharged felon" term was used. The evidence is stunning.

Hint, if you commit felonies, even without being caught, you are still a "felon".

I dislike her because she is anti-american. I dislike all anti-americans. It is OK that she doesn't like America. It is not OK for her, as a public "servant" to promote her dislike.

Why do you feel she is anti-American? What has she done that shows her anti Americanism?
I am not fond of her, but I am also not fond of unsupported allegations.

I would say it depends on context.

If you are at a stadium with 79,999 other eyewitnesses and someone gets on the mic, projects up his face and passport on the screen, says "I am committing murder 1 by the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought, as defined in US Code 1111", then stabs someone to death with an unobstructed, live telecast view....

I think it is fair to call that person a murderer.

But even if you took him to court, the judge would never address him as such or make any statement to that effect - because he is not a murderer under the law until he either pleads guilty or is found guilty by a jury of his peers.

Neither should the media, except in opinion columns.

I dunno - I see good points on both sides. At the moment I tend to take it case by case.

We had a murder here where the entire town was entitely convinced he did it because the evidence was strong and he was an awkward personality. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he was eventually found not guilty.

Later I by coincidence served him a couple of times in public and he was a pretty courteous, awkward guy.

I try to hold off until either there is a confession, or overwhelming, undeniable evidence (the Christchurch murderer for example)

So you affix a label to another American based on feelings not on evidence. We used to call that bullying, but that is just my opinion.

Never trust such folks, especially ones with a savior complex.

lhan Omar on being barred from Israel: “Trump’s Muslim ban is what Israel is implementing”

    What?

Israel’s many Muslim visitors beg to differ, but Omar is a demagogue and this is what demagogues do.

Two Racists in a bad-faith opportunity for agitprop on Israeli soil:

“Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are leading activists in promoting the legislation of boycotts against Israel in the American Congress. Only a few days ago, we received their itinerary for their visit in Israel, which revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy. For instance: they listed the destination of their trip as Palestine and not Israel, and unlike all Democratic and Republican members of Congress who have visited Israel, they did not request to meet any Israeli officials, either from the government or the opposition.

“A week ago, Israel warmly welcomed some 70 Democratic and Republican members of Congress, who expressed broad bipartisan support for Israel, which was also demonstrated a month ago in a resounding bipartisan vote against BDS in Congress.

“However, the itinerary of the two Congresswomen reveals that the sole purpose of their visit is to harm Israel and increase incitement against it.

“In addition, the organization that is funding their trip is Miftah, which is an avid supporter of BDS, and among whose members are those who have expressed support for terrorism against Israel.

Israel doesn't bar critics but it does bar enemies, which is what Omar and Tlaib are. If Pelosi wants to defend their agenda against Israel — and also why their alleged concern for human rights seems to focus chiefly on the one minority-Muslim country in the regime — let her have at it.

their posture towards the Jewish state is implacably adversarial. Their itinerary telegraphed the fact that they would use the trip to agitate against the country. There’s no reason for the Israeli government to be party to that.

As for Democrats who claim that barring a legislator from an allied nation is fascism:

What kind of totalitarians would ever try to ban legislators from an allied country you may ask.

Question for reporters covering @IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib trip to "Palestine"--as their itinerary refers to all of Israel--have u noted that the organization sponsoring the trip, Miftah, has claimed that "Jews use the blood of Christians in Jewish passover"? https://www.ngo-monitor.org/reports/miftah_s_funders_share_responsibility_for_antisemitism_and_incitement/ …

Miftah’s Funders Share Responsibility for Antisemitism and Incitement
MIFTAH posted an article claiming that medieval blood libels are based on real rituals and are not false as they claim. MIFTAHs funders include the EU, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Norway,...

That is hardly the point. Why are you so concerned about Omar? She is liberal extremist and you seem to be concerned about her radical opinions and her achievements, or lack thereof.

All of this is a diversion from what really should concern Americans.

Trump is more loyal to Israel than to the U.S. Congress.

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!

    6:57 AM - Aug 15, 2019

After the American President's comments regarding two American Congresswomen, Israel reversed course and prohibited the pair from entering the country.

Either Trump is acting like a Putin puppet, or he consistently says the absolutely worse thing at the worst possible time.

    That is the point!

It's astonishing. She was right there when her squadmate got her donkey teeth kicked in for the stupidity of insisting that tax breaks are pre-existing money the government gives to corporations that could be spent otherwise. She was standing right there when AOC got rekt for that idiocy during the Amazon debacle.

    And yet...

How is it even possible to be so inept and untrainable?
