I don't bet on sports involving human athletes. My experience with athletes, having played on sports teams and having formerly been a fan of professional and college sports, is that they slack off, they cheat, they bet against their own team, they do coke before games, they let popstars they're smashing throw off their game, etc etc. Not a good horse for betting on. Might as well just flush the money down the toilet. Betting on 1) whether a decrepit old person with known serious health issues who falls asleep on international TV sitting on the most powerful court in the most powerful nation in the world, is going to die or retire soon or 2) whether a SCOTUS justice who has no clerks coming up this term is going to retire rather than do all the work himself, are by contrast great horses for betting on. That's like betting if Trump will shoot his mouth off, pretty safe bet.

It’s rocked science to you; you don’t really have an idea of what monitory training program for civilians would include nor did you identify the objective for such training. You are just mouthing meaningless ideas of manditory requirements as a remedy for reducing gun violence because it sounds good.
Well, show my opinion is wrong, outline what you think should be a minimum training program for you requirement and answer why such should be manditory.
Do you want me to give you the actual post standards for the proficiency test and the actual test? I thought I was quite clear. The reason for it being mandatory.....guns are not self explanatory
gun accidents decline every year so there is no need for proficiency tests. By far, the most injuries that come from guns involve intentional use of the firearms-be it suicide or homicide and NEITHER is going to be decreased with mandatory training, Its just another way gun banners try to harass and impede legal gun ownership
